Applause Hey! I just made my first post, but I don't know where it went. Think I hope that Maryjo and Kit come back, and that LarSue pops in! Cool BR said that new diet sprinkle, Sensa, is working for her. She's lost a few pounds already. She said it looks like sugar, but is tateless. She said she just sprinkles it on her food, and she fills up fast. She even sprinkles it on her McDonald's and Dairy Queen! Sick I'm going to have to try it. Party on~Surfing

Good morning! Where are y'all? I made it a point to check in thinking you were here chatting it up. Happy 2 I guess y'all are busy. Fishing He he! Did you read my last post at MSN? Anywho, the half bath and foyer were flooding. They finally got a plumber out here, and the leak was up in the bathroom wall behind the mirrow. The entire wall was spongy. He started at the floor, and cut the wall out all the way to a foot from the ceiling. I called back right away, and said they needed to send someone out here to replace the wall, because you can look into the garage from inside the bathroom! They called me back, and I gave them the details Monday morning. You think I've heard anything back from them? Anxious Heck no! And, we're having a cold spell right now. I just hope no rodents or snakes make their way into the house! Pray Well, since I'm here, I might as well do some window shopping, and see what's on sale. Whistle

Hey, Ladycat! I remember you! What's up devia? You haven't stopped by to have coffee lately. We're so concerned about Lobo. Just hoping that all is well with her.

PB~I remember about your "flood." Sheesh...WHAT is wrong with those people??? Eh? Too bad you didn't know about how poorly the house has been maintained, maybe you guys could've found a problem free place to live in. Oh, the roof/awning I want the handyman to build is over the door to the garage, not the front door.

Cometgirl~I didn't realize that Gray's and PP were repeats, but I never saw them the first time so it was okay...LOL! I'm just glad that Addison's "snake in the grass" brother is long gone!! Applause

Danni~the rain is returning (yet once again) on Sunday. Hmmmm...but they didn't say if you are the one sending it down this way....d'oh!

Hello, LadyCat! How are you? How is your Marine doing? Sure am glad we came back to the HSN Boards. I see a lot of our old friends are still here. Applause

SoCalGal, that awning I saw was for a picture window. It sold out.

Where is Lobo?

The rain came, and it's cold here this morning. Come on spring! I can't believe that Danni has better weather than I do.

Danni, I got my mom a ring from HSN for her birthday, and she hated it. Ha ha! It's a Miss Tina alligator ring with a purple stone in the center.
Happy 1

Hi, Cometgirl! How's it going?

Hey PB, long time, no see...
My Marine is doing fine. Out for good for over a year now.
He is trying to get into the policeman program in his town. He always
wanted to be a cop.
How are you doing?

LadyCat, I thought I remembered you told me he'd gotten out of the marines. My little cousin just joined the marines. He's at boot camp in SC.

My hubby just brought his pictures in. He's being promoted. He'll probably stay in until they force him out at retirement age!

I hope your son gets his wish to become a cop. Tell him good luck! I'm sure he'd be a great asset to his community, and they'd be lucky to have him patrolling their streets. Speak to the hand (Traffic Cop)

They're saying we could get up to 3 inches of snow tonight & tomorrow. That's a lot for our area. Am glad I don't have to drive anyone to work tomorrow.

PB~Congrats to hubby on his promotion! Applause I think those dates are the dates for re-joining when the BBs came back. We don’t know where Lobo is, maybe snowed in or no power? Just hoping that all is well with her. Eh, I never did check out that webby you told me about so its okay that the awning is sold out. I’m going to have the handyman build it. And you STILL have a missing wall? WHAT IS WRONG WITH THOSE PEOPLE????? d'oh! Think

Danni~I keep forgetting to thank you for the card and the coin.Dancing That was so nice of you! Dancing Applause I’m going to keep it in my wallet so it’ll always be with me. My girlfriend in the DC area sent me a copy of “The Cross in My Pocket.” Have you seen that one? It’s really nice and has been in my wallet ever since she sent it to me YEARS ago. Every so often I’ll pull it out and read it.

We’ve had wonderful temps in the low 80s the past few days…YEAH!!! I almost pulled the patio set out of the shed to set up on the deck. But tomorrow we’re supposed to have “a chance of showers” and temps in the mid 70s…ICK!!!

Winking Morning, y'all! SoCalGal, they were showing the 90 day farm report, and said your part of the country, including Danni, is supposed to have below normal temperatures. We're going to be normal, and the mid and southern sections of the country are going to be above normal. I forget how much rain you're supposed to get over there, but it is and is going to be below normal where temps are supposed to be above normal. So, maybe you shouldn't take out your patio set just yet.

We got some snow, but the main problem here is freezing. When you run your wipers it makes a sheet of ice across your windshield, and you can't see. School was delayed, and then they called my oldest to come in and work. He'll be working 5 days this week. He was supposed to be a part-time worker.

I don't know why that property managment office is so slow. I read our lease, and it just says they'll make repairs expeditiously. Whatever that means!

I've been clearing out the garage this morning so I could park in there. I'm almost done. That could be my workout for today!

PB~Not to worry, I don’t plan on dragging the patio set out until a HOT day in the middle of August…LOL! I know by then the weather will be CONSISTENTLY HOT!!!
I like your mom’s idea to call those blasted people!! I’m sure she’ll light a fire under their butts… Eh, just saw a weather report and looks like basically NO rain this week. That’s a good thing ‘cuz mom has medical appointments tomorrow afternoon and it’s a royal pain dealing with the wheelchair and umbrellas in the rain…

Congrats on clearing out the garage. I need to finish working on mine. One day I’d like to get it drywalled and install some shelving. But first I need to get it re wired…like my beloved Grandmother used to say, “If it ain’t one thing, its THREE!”

SoCalGal, how long has Lobo been missing from the boards? Didn't she say her computer was about to bite the dust? I hope she makes it back soon.

You're going to get your patio set out by August? I think you can take it out sooner than that! Do you ever bbq on the patio? I don't think I've ever heard you mention doing any cooking outside. I can't wait to dust off my bbq pit. I'll probably be doing that before the weekend. It's going to start warming up here by tomorrow, and looks like it's going to hang around awhile. I got my Pig Stand BBQ sauce, and chicken waiting, and ready to go. I saw they have jumbo crabs available. I'm picking some up this Friday for Lent. YUM! If it gets cold again, we can just make crab gumbo with any leftovers.

I finished cleaning out my garage. My youngest helped. We got the car in there. It's so nice to get into a dry warm vehicle, especially today when it's 19 degrees outside! I've been wanting the garage cleaned out, so I could park in there for such a long time. Now, to sneak some of dh's stuff into the trash. Ha ha! He is such a big baby. He was all, "Don't get rid of anything just yet!" I told him I'm putting his stuff out in the shed, and he said it'd get stolen. Nobody wants his stuff!

We had both a finished, and unfinished garage. The unfinished one had all the shelving, and even a huge sturdy woodworking station the length of the house. We both miss that garage. It was so nice! Hope you can get your garage like you want it. I wish your brother could help. That'd save you so much money!

Glad it's not going to rain there, if you have to push your mom in a wheelchair. I thought she was just using a walker. Still, I'm sure that's hard too!

I wonder why Danni isn't stopping by here? At least Cometgirl came by since you started the new board. Hum? I miss their stories.

Well, I'll TTL! Take care~
