Hello - Antthony almost angel here - love Antthony, love his designs, can't wear most of it because I'm too short, short legged, short armed, short waisted for his designs. Heard some good things about upcoming collections though so am waiting to see them.

Hello! I first bought several Anthony dusters a few years back, and just loved them. It was my first time trying a duster, and I brought them on a cruise and got several compliments from complete strangers! When I stopped seeing new dusters, and the items I did see of Anthonny's didnt impress me, I moved on..to Lukastyle. While I enjoy his dusters, and some of his other items, I was put a quick halt to my purchasing of that line because I found myself returning more than I was keeping, and frankly, I just dont have the time (I work 6 days a week)to to keep on going to the post office. The return postage was also getting to be a needless waste. Besides, I had enough of his fall line, and what I need NOW is summer/spring clothes, so I decided to give Anthonny's line anohther shot. I am so glad I did becuase I couldnt be more pleased with the red Kimono tunic I recently received on clearance, and a black miami flounce top. Both REALLY are slimming on this size 13/14 bod. I was so pleased I just today ordered..forget the official name of it, but its a black long skirt cut on the diagonal. I already did a much-needed replacement of my fall clothes in Lukastyle, and now Anthonny will be helping redo my summer wardrobe with his light, stylish and easy-care line! Love the fact Anthonny seems to design with this area (the tropics, carribean, bahamas etc) in mind. I live in florida and have easy access to the cruise lines in miami and tampa, and I love cruising to the bahamas, mexico, carriean, key west, etc. His clothes fit right in! Keep it coming Anthonny because Ill be abuyin'!

I dont know what it takes to become an 'anthony angel' but I do like his clothes alot, especially after trying some of the other lines. My worst experience was with lukastyle. I have no idea how that man stays in business because his clothes are like repeats of the 70s-80s, and the sizing is aweful! I really like antonys clothes because they are beautiful, light, airy, flattering and he really knows a womens body! I agree that his use of tropical inspirred colors appeals to me.This is why he has been on hsn for such a long time, I am sure, and chances are he will be here for a long time to come as long as he keeps putting out such beautufil things.

Hi everybody. It's so good to see so many old friends and new ones too.
Cherrie, if you love Antthony's line and enjoy wearing his clothes, you are an Antthony Angel. Sorry to hear about your experience with Lukastyle.
Massha, I emailed Sabs and some of the ladies from the old HSN BB fashion board to let them know the BB was back up. I haven't heard from her in a while. I hope she is ok. I didn't win the gown, but I can't wait to see the winner in it when it is done.
FloridaMel, I have some of the dusters too. I'm glad you like his new knit line. The knit is so soft and cool. I can't wait to see the new collections. He is scheduled to be on the end of this month.

I just wanted to let everyone know I received my first Antthony outfit. It was the 2-piece Asymmetric neckline w/diagonal hem outfit in black. It is very figure flattering and hides flaws and makes you appear slimmer. I love the neckline design and it is so so comfortable. I guessed my right size so I was pleasantly surprised.

tady, i must admit I am a duster lover! They look so stylish and yet hide a multitude of sins! I just love the feeling of flowing material, and I think the dusters add length to ones height as well.Maybe I am out of touch with the fashion terms (probably so) but I was surprised to see some of Anthonny's fabrics refered to as knits when they were polyester or poly. blends. When I think of knit, I think of heavy material, often itchy. Is this a new term or am I just behind the times? Darlyn, i ordered the bottom half of the outfit you are talking about and it should be arriving any day now. I am really looking forward to it, and just hope it fits. I didnt have a problem with Anthonnys fitting me in the past, so Im hoping they will run pretty true to size which of course makes the whole buying process run alot smoother!welcome to your first Anthonny purchase and I suspect you will come to really enjoy his line. The Anthonny angels here seem very friendly so make yourself at home and let us know if you purchase anything more!

I recently bought Anthony's flutter tunic in Fuschia and loved it so much that I bought the black. Two different sizes, as they were on clearance but both seem to work. I will be definitely buying more from this talented designer who knows a woman's body so well.

Florida Mel, dusters give me length and help me to look more in proportion as well. I have that same duster in white. I have even worn it as a beach cover up. Antthony's new collections are done in a knit fabric. It is so light, soft, and forgiving...nothing like the knits we wore in the 70's that made you feel like you might burst into flame in hot weather. How we wore that stuff and were able to disco without melting, I will never know.
I appreciate that Antthony knows how to fit all shapes and sizes, even ages!! His line has continued to grow and evolve.
Queenvictoria, I do the same thing. When I find something that I like, and it flatters and fits well, I will go back and purchase additional colors.
Darlyn56, that is one of my favorite Antthony pantsuits.

Tady, you have the same peacack one in white? haha. I love it, dont you?! I have worn mine both as a duster and beach/pool cover too.Its really a unique duster, eh? I think I only paid $10 for mine. On clearance.
I agree the polys of today are much more sophisticated than yesteryear. When I think of some of those crazy print shirts I wore in the 70s, and thought I looked cool..yikes! But then again, cant be any worse then the guys in teh discos with their gold chains and poly shirts unbottoned to the navel. Scary stuff!
I too tend to buy more of the same in a differnt color if the item really works for me. I figure, its a sure thing.

massha, a lady from Maryland won the dress. I'm not sure if it is ok to post her name here, so I won't. Antthony had two designs to choose from and she picked a beautiful, full length, yellow dress accented with pleating. He said they will post pictures of her in the dress when it was completed. I wish she could go on HSN and walk the runway with the other models.

It just occurred to me though that I probably couldn't afford to win that dress! What's the value of the dress? - something like $3K or so? Then you have to pay I thinkk $1.5K in taxes!

massha, I'm not sure of the value of the dress. You can go to his website and see his couture line to get some idea. Just Google his name and you will find it.
