What will you be doing or getting on Black Friday? I most likely will not shop, I think I may go to the museum or a winery. If I do shop, it will be at the local boutiques for all gifts. However, I do want to look flawless for the holiday pictures, my makeup is too dark for me now, I'm still using summer makeup, so I may breakdown and go to sephora, that will be the only chain store I will visit. How about you, any plans for Black Friday?

Me, too, Bassetbabe! My goal every year, which I have achieved so far, is to have my Christmas shopping finished -- and wrapped -- by Thanksgiving. Then we put up our tree, put the gifts under it, and relax and enjoy the holiday season. Ahhhh. P.S. I don't want to be anywhere near a mall on Black Friday!

I wouldn't go out in that madness if the merchandise was free! I mostly do Internet shopping for the holidays as I really don't like the crowds and the traffic and both are terrible where I live. And parking is even worse.

my shopping has been done for a while. I think I went one year since I was awake anyway at like 4am to get a Gameboy at Target. I love Target, but I have never wanted to get out of one so badly.
We set our tree up that day anyway, so we'll be doing that.

I seem to get my shopping done but the wrapping is another story. I hope to do better this yr,so I can relax, knowing it's behind me.
I used to work at our mall my last yr of high school.I had to leave an hr early, just to get into the store. So I am like so many of you and try to avoid it after Thanksgiving.

I put everything in gift bags now. My $1 store always has really pretty ones in all sizes, plus we can save them and re-use them for several years.
I used to be a manager at a mall store, then worked in cosmetics and the holiday hours were not fun. Worse than black friday was the day after xmas.... returns, returns, returns.... w/ lots of cranky people. :(

I try to use the gift bags too.My husband and I save ours and reuse them as long as we can,for the gifts we give each other. I remember the after Christmas returns and the cranky people too.Glad that time is behind me.

I don't ever foresee myself shopping on Black Friday. I used to go with my mother as a young girl, and it was just pure madness.
I have, however, seen people camped out on Thursday evenings at Best Buy. Luckily, we are in the great state of Texas so it's not too cold.
