In most states,Daylight Savings Time will end very early on Sunday morning,11/01.

So please make sure you set your clocks back an hr before you go to bed Saturday night.

Thank you BASSETBABE. I have trouble adjusting to this change. It seems like bedtime right after dinner for several weeks. But, my kids who have to get up early, like it as it's light earlier.

Good reminder!!

ALSO: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE change the batteries in all of your smoke and CO2 detectors. Firemen suggest it 2x a year, and the time changes are a great way to remember when. Our house was saved from a fire that was in a faulty light fixture in the basement (in the middle of the night) by a LOUD smoke alarm. I dread to think of the possibilities had we not had one there, we were asleep 2 floors up. We have them in every single room. They are not expensive, and can obviously save your life.

every time I have to change ALL my watches, I weed them out. If the battery is dead and I haven't even noticed, because I haven't worn them for months, I figure I don't need/want them.
This change takes time for me to adjust to because it's dark so early. Feels like bedtime right after dinner.
Time for the USC/Oregon game. And, the world series.

Great idea to toss the ones that are old or not used .

I have a very hard time getting used to it getting dark so early.By the time I get used to it,we change them again.Eh?

Enjoy your games.Angel

Raeli, before he got sick, that would have been my hubby also. What day is it, indeed?
Bummer, USC is getting trounced by Oregon. Unbelievable!!
Hubby is asleep with the remote clutched in his hands, so I can't change it to see how the World Series is going. It was tied 3-3 the last I knew.
We had the door bell ring once tonight, but ignored it as we had nothing to give them. Pennies used to be a big treat, but they would probably want a $20.oo bill these days. LOL

Have a restful Sunday.

Thank you,Snappy.Hope you and your husband had a good Sunday.

I had to laugh at what you said about the kids today. You are probably right, they would want 20.Winking

When the clock said 6 tonight,it felt like it should be much later. So dark already.Gonna take a while to get used to it.

.
Devia,Thank you for that reminder. My husband changed those and set the clocks on the wall and I did the others.

The grandfather clock is what takes so long,so the chimes will still be correct.I felt like I was growing old, going through each cycle manually.Eh?

But ,thankfully, all clocks are now back to regular time.Applause
