I must agree. I have been watching HSN for years and she looks horrid. I guess money buys you much plastic surgery and size zero clothes. Bobby is our age! Middle age to say the least! Her bones are very scary. Ever wonder what she looks like without all that awful makeup! She would be better off going to Horrorwood..

I meant Hollywood Eh?

Looks like Mrs. Potato Head. Her neck looks awful. Way too skinny. The dress she was wearing on Sharif's show was HIDEOUS. When she talks to callers, she ALWAYS syas her name first, not the vendor's. Hey, Skinny, it's NOT all about you!

She appears quite underweight. I wonder if it's intentional(to compete with other, younger hosts) or not?

She is extremely thin, when she has on jeans she has absolutely no curves none at all! The jeans hang on her. I am sure they are the smallest size they offer and they are still way too big.

I remember seeing her daughter on her 25th anniversary show and she was a beautiful curvy young lady.

I hope that she is not sick, because she does seem to a nice person.

Since she is such a part of HSN's history, I bet they will let her call the shots as to when she steps out the door. Having her daughter on the air several times recently makes me wonder if BR is not warming her up in the bullpen. She NEEDS, for health's sake, to gain weight. Even if her health is currently good ... Any physician will tell you that when you get to your 60s up, don't get TOO skinny because if some disease befalls you, your body will badly need a small amount of extra (disposable) fat to provide energy for healing and as insurance against becoming too weak from weight loss. If she gained 10 pounds, she would look SO MUCH better. I wish her well.

I remember seeing Bobby 20 years ago and she was thin then. I'm jealous, to be able to age and not gain a pound. I do agree she is probably too thin to be healthy, but I'd rather be too thin than too fat. Lucky her.

SHE LOOKED TERRIBLE THE OTHER EVENING..I THINK IN AN ATTEMPT TO LOOK YOUNG SHE HAS GONE WAY TO FAR IN THE WRONG DIRECTION,.SHE MUST THINK THAT FAKE BOOBS AND A REALLY THIN BODY WILL MAKE HER LOOK BETTER BUT THAT ONLY SEEMED TO WORK ON DOLLY PARTON WHO IS IN HER SIXTIES..BOBBY EVEN IS TRYING TO WEAR HER HAIR LIKE ADDRIENNE BUT SHE DOES NOT LOOK AS GOOD AS ADRIENNE WITH THAT HAIR DO..AS FOR THE HUGH EYES..IF YOU LOSE ALL THE WEIGHT IN YOUR FACE AND HAVE PLASTIC SURGERY THEN YOUR EYES WILL BE THE FEATURE WE ALL NOTICE FIRST..ALSO BULGING EYES ARE ALSO INDICATIVE OF THYROID PROBLEMS...

I think Bobby Ray Carter has a pretty face and nice hair (which I think should have a few layers and maybe some subtle but vibrant highlights). I do agree that she could gain a few pounds, though I wish I tended toward underweight!!! I have always been of normal weight with about 3-5 pounds to lose. These pounds have haunted me, as at 5'3" they gather on my thighs and If I do 30 minutes a day on the treadmill, they go away, but I have been lazy more often than not. UGH!

If HSN replaces all of their long-time hosts (Bobby Ray, John Cremeans, etc.) with some of these airheads they've hired (I'm not mentioning anyone), I'll be very offended. Some of the new people are very good (Tamara Hooks in particular), but there are a few they should let go before they let Bobby Ray or John Cremeans go.

Wow, a lot of mean-spirited posts about Bobbi's weight for sure. I have watched her for years and she has always been very thin, I believe its natural for her to remain that way.

I have always liked Bobbi and I think her sales techniques are good and she is very nice and seems to work hard at her job. I think she is aging very well. My hubby is in his 40s and he watches her and only comments that she seems to widen her eyes many times because her eyes aren't that wide at all. When she relaxes, they are lovely. She has good muscle tone and her arms aren't stick thin. I just saw Angelina Jolie in a movie recently and boy, THAT is stick thin for sure; Bobbi doesn't look like a scarecrow at all. Bobbi, I think you do a good job and I like you and watch you all the time.

Look at Kelly Ripka. She is real skinny. I think people in the public eye are pressured to be skinny and some just go that extra step to where it may not be healthy. Only they know though since they know their medical history.

For years I've endlessly read how thin Bobbi is. I can't imagine criticism of say, Kelly Repassy's weight, yet why is it okay to go on and on about someone who is thin? We all have have different shapes and Bobbi happens to be ultra slim. Perhaps, like Mick Jagger, she has that sort of metabolism where it is very hard to gain weight. I hope she does not read the forums because these comments could be tremendously hurtful to her.

i think that she works out all the time..she-runs-walks-her and adraine and a few others at hsn...shannon also use to walk-and run with them-but because of health-reasons i haven't heard shannon talk about it...shannon has been in a couple-of car-accidents,lately,so i'm sure this has slowed her-down...i think bobbi looks great-now-though...i heard them say on hsn.that she only eats vegetables...

I know a woman that just had breast cancer. When they were going to rebuild her breasts after mastectomy she had no excess fat to rebuild them, I think they were going to put implants in under the fat layer but she didn't have one. Can you imagine no fat layer? No extra fat? Wow. She was always small but the cancer and the treatments zapped all the extra she had in reserve.

I have read numerous comments about Kelly Repassy's weight over the years. And she seemingly lost her job because of her size, although I am sure they did not SAY that! People all over the world are FAR MORE critical of people who are overweight, than those that are anorexic thin. Research has shown that people who are overweight are often discriminated against. And while being overly thin is not healthy either, and some people will make unkind remarks, society is much more kind to, and even ADMIRE, the super thin! Just look at Hollywood and the modeling industry. Not only are they admired, but they are Extremely Well Paid! I think that is far better than being fired for being too large! But nevertheless, I think it is extremely unkind to criticize anyone for the way they look. I really believe that Bobby has an eating disorder, but I think people with eating disorders should be treated with compassion, and not derision! I really enjoy Bobbi and I think she does a great job, and I like watching her!

I have 3 adult men in my home and myself. The largest person here weights 157 pounds and he is 56 years old. We eat 3 meals a day and all the deserts, cookies, ice cream etc you could ever want is always in my kitchen. My sons have tried everything under the sun to gain weight including Ensure.

My 20 year old son has a severe complex about his arms being skinny as some have made comments about them. Because of people making fun of their size neither of my sons will wear shorts or swimsuits in the summer. We go to the beach and my 20 year old comes out and sit with long jeans on. How sad to see someone suffer because others have made comments to them and they are ashamed of themselves. My sons says all the time he would rather be overweight any day than underweight but he has no control over it.

Yes I agree100 percent with the fact that being underweight can prohibit certain medical procedures. I am proof of that. I weighed around 103-105 when I had a massive heart attack. I had stents put in and than was kept in the hospital for 7 days as it was unsafe for me to go home but I was too thin for open-heart sugery. When I reached 113 pounds I was able to have 5 by-passes. I have kept my weight at that level....regardless of how much or how little I eat it my weight stays the same. If I could wish for anything to be changed on my body I would wish for my arms not to have all the lose aging skin. That will never happen.

Personally I just accept I am made the way my Creator wanted me to be. IMO not a pretty sight but that is the way it has to be.

Sadly the perfect weight is what is healthy for all of us but how many people can stay at their perfect weight?
