Oh, Momsha..You are reading my mind across many state lines..The "have a great day" from every waitress, clerk, cashier, etc in the state, drives me nuts..They don't know me, they don't want to know me..Saying "Thank you for your patronage", would be great..it would make sense...I don't remember the last time a person actually, "Thank you for your order", etc. I like smileys as they transmit emotions that are difficult in writing online, since one can't see anothers face to determine if that person is saying something "for real" or is joking..I am a jokester,but my humor is dry..Some find it insulting, so I use "emotiocons" for that reason. , so I use them..
