I find it very interesting to wonder what makes one person love to read mysteries, and another science fiction, etc. My best friend loves sci fi, and I don't. I'm wild about mysteries, she isn't

My mother loved novels involving history.....usually English. Whenever she would run out of library books to read, she would purchase a book at the grocery store which she would invariably tell me was too "trashy" for her taste....and insist that she skipped over those pages. LOL....

LOL. I also like books set in England. And, I'm familiar with "skipping over the pages",sort of like the men who get PB for the articles.
Tomorrow hubby will have blood drawn in preparation for the biopsy which I assume will be next week.
At least the lab is close to home.

Thanks, Raeli, I hope the cancer in his arm is part of what they already know he has, and not another new primary site. That's what the biopsy will show.
Are you enjoying the World Series?

HiBASSETBABE, hubby did well at the lab today. It's very hard to get blood from him, but the lab doesn't have a problem. Now we wait to hear from the hospital about a date for the biopsy.
I looked in my TV schedule, and it says Monk and the dog. Oh, my. :)
My hubby isn't a reader, but he has always liked sci fi TV programs. I'm okay with them, I'm usually reading anyway. One of my girls lent me a series written by Charlaine Harris. The main character is Aurora Teagarden, better known as Roe. She works in a library, but her personal life is the main focus of the stories.
Are you feeling better now?

devia, at least we know they won't call over the weekend, so we can forget about it.
We are watching the Lakers/Dallas basketball game.
I appreciate your kind words, devia.

What did those of you who watched Monk think about his interaction with the dog? It seems to me that they are gradually helping the character get control over his phobias, without changing him too much.

Snappy,I just loved that Monk episode. My husband and I both cracked up laughing at the dog drinking out of the toilet and when she was in labor.

I do think that was 1 of my fav episodes.Dancing I agree with you on your thoughts of the gradual changes that help him.

I do feel a little better and hope you and your husband are having a good weekend.Prayers continue for the both of you.

another Halloween behind us!!!!! our whole block was black, as no-one was home and no-porch lights were no......but there were so many Halloween things going on at church, and other people's homes!!! the weather was perfect for it as no-rain, and the wind wasn't blowing either...[ back-to entertainment though, i do miss like the old-discovery channel, as when my children were home they always watched it....]i just can't get into a lot of these new programs...Cool

I guess I'm a prude as I can't get into all the 4-letter words and suggestive behavior.........I know it's a different world out there but I don't want it in my living room.

BASSETBABE, I'm glad you enjoyed the Monk episode. I'll miss it when the season is over.
I hate the in your face immorality and the language that is ear pollution. The worst programs for that, to me, are the comedies. So, we don't watch any of them. Too bad, everyone could use a good clean laugh these days. Hey, that's why we have each other here, and, of course Flo. LOL

Sorry, edit problems
The cleaning and scrubbing will wait till tomorrow,
For children grow up, as I've learned to my sorrow.
So quiet down cobwebs. Dust go to sleep.
I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep.
