Hi Everyone--Hi Devia-Hi BassetBabe,

Nice to see you too!! Hope that you are doing o.k. too--I have been reading more than I have been posting lately...

Yes, I was talking about the different Lucy shows, including the one with Mr. Mooney. :) Those shows were all so funny. They sure don't make shows like that anymore.

hello cheezypopcorn, nice to hear from you.....i don't read that much anymore, as it bother's my eyes...i use to read a lot of the gossip-magazines...i don't even buy those anymore, as the things were so-not real, or true...but i'm so glad to hear about people still reading as it's so important...

hello cheezypopcorn and devia. So much entertainment to watch today. Football, and NASCAR!
I'm about to start a series of books my daughter lent me. Charlaine Harris is the author.
The first one is titled "Real Murders".
One of our daughters has XM radio in her car, and gets to listen to lots of old radio programs. Do you remember "Our Miss Brooks"? She's enjoying that a lot.

devia, yes I remember all those programs. And "The Shadow". We had big radios that always sat in the corner in our house. We all used to gather round it and listen to the programs you mentioned, and "Fibber McGee and Molly" and so many others. As I say, my daughter is enjoying all those things on her satellite radio in the car when she sits in traffic.

WE are getting ready to watch the Angels/Yankees game. Hope the Angels can win, or else the series is over.
Have a nice evening, devia.

I miss watching Guiding Light. I am so disappointed that they cancelled that soap after it aired for 75 years.

When I get tired of shopping, I just sit down and try on shoes

DFTX,I am sorry you lost your soap.I used to keep up with a few, lost interest for a while, then went back and it seemed like so many characters had changed.Eh?

Did you ever hear a reason as to why it was cancelled.?

Snappy,I saw that episode of Monk and it made me realize how much more Natalie shows respect for him than Sharona did.It was very good.Angel

BASSETBABE, we noticed the same thing. We thought we would miss Sharona, at the time, but we like Natalie so much better.
Just saw an ad for "24" which will be returning in January. I like that show a lot. I read books like that.
What do you like to read?
