These are some of the worst non stick pans on the market. They lost their non stick after 2 uses. AVOID

ITA!!!! Also avoid the programs, where Chef Todd, may get to speak two words, if he is lucky. I feel sorry and embarrassed for him. How long is he going to put up with these cackling, screaming women trying to drown him out?

I've lost alot of respect for hime - I used to watch his cooking shows on PBS etc. however no longer think of him as a top notch Chef after seeing him on these shows upstaged by Joy's cackling. Also cannot believe he continues to lend his name to these defective pans.

Peace!

Lloren

I bought an 11" fry pan from TJ also- it is called the Ecopan and I have had it for months now and works great.

Same principle as the Green pan but this one WORKS.

Peace!

I bought a set of "green pans" as I have rheumatoid arthritis in my hands and needed a lightweight saute pan with easy to clean non-stick. After the second use, the non stick is non stick no more. How do these people sleep at night? I'd like to know what was applied to the pan to make it non-stick for the first two uses. The first two times I made bacon in the pan and no residue was on the bottom! I only wash by hand - never have washed them in the dishwasher. I feel we are due an explanation as to why these pans are now sticking.

He is on now 11:00 AM CST SATURDAY, and Joy Mangano is nowhere in site. HOORAY!!!

Edit: He was on for only 15 minutes. I guess that is why Joy wasn't there.

And yet ANOTHER presentation tonight.

Doesn't HSN ever learn? How many bad reviews does this stuff have to get?

Oh man, are they kidding with the "professional" bit?

I know of NO commercial kitchen that will use any non-stick and the 4 rivets? What you want to avoid in commercial cookware is too many rivets as that's the #2 reason for Health Dept violations...right behind the ol' can opener.

I did watch a bit just to see the circus that is Joy-Todd-Chris, and was it just me or did Todd look *really* angry that he couldn't talk?

My husband & I buy from HSN all the time. Have actually bought Green Pans three different times. Love the pots, but the frypans & griddle have become awful as previous postings have stated. My stainless steele set is the worst, plus they're so heavy. I thought it was me. Is the only recourse challanging the GH seal? Has anybody ever used the Martha Stewart version of these pans? I agree with the way Joy can grate on your nerves.

OMG...I thought I must be doing something wrong with these pans. I bought a 4 piece set awhile back and they are terrible. The sauce pan and the stock pot are fine but the fry pan and the griddle are stained terrible and are far from non-stick. I thought they gave some kind of guarantee on these pans like qvc does on theirs but couldn't find one. These are honestly the worst frying pans I have ever used.

I have to say that the green pans are the worst pans that I have ever purchased I am glad to see how many people agree. I spend much more time cleaning them than my stainless!

Surprised to read all the discontent with T English pans. I like my 12" and smaller skillet, altho I note I am having to "rub" harder to get them clean. Often, I believe the problem is the latest sticks to the former foodstuff that was not completely cleaned. I will buy an 11" griddle if he ever presents one. My old one is decrepid, is the older Teflon, discolored and wretched looking. Haven't tossed it out yet, waiting for a new one.

Yep, I too, have noticed the ladies dominating the presentation. It does grate on the nerves!

I feel like Mr Spock when he said "Captain, I heard I simply cannot believe my ears" when I read positive reviews of this green pan garbage. Clearly some do not understand that Non-Stick is supposed to be exactly that.. NON-Stick and above that NON-Stain and GreenPan fails on both of those.

Not only does fail but they do not even deserve to take the test in the first place. I was foolish enough to give frying pans and grills as gifts and now I have replaced these with Stainless steel and the most incredible non-stick stainless cookware from the other channel that was on clearance. When you use that cookware the food turns out great and even the pure stainless is FAR easier to clean than the GPJ.

I bought a set of these pans as a gift for my son in law last year, thinking that I really hit the jackpot with this these pans. While visiting my daughter I decided to fry some eggs. I could not find the pans and according to my little grandchild they had come to rest in the landfill.

Like many others, I have decided not to watch HSN whenever Todd or Joy are presenting green pans. I refuse to support this ongoing fraud. Have lost all respect for Todd English. How can he continue to present pans that stick worse than any other non-stick pans? I was getting more and more angry every time I had to scrape food out of these pans. Threw all of them out! I have reported this to Good Housekeeping and am waiting for their response. If I were a lawyer, I would start a class action suit. HSN how can you justify this ongoing misrepresentation? Shame on you.

I had considered trying them-- thanks for letting me know!! They aren't cheap by any stretch of the imagination!! I don't like it when they have Green Pans on because they are on for hours and hours that weekend, and the estrogen level on the set is outrageous, like the women are all trying to impress Todd English in some weird competition. I might watch if I could actually learn something from Todd, but he just cooks in the background.

I very rarely watch hsn on the weekends any more, because the same things (usually JM, Esteban, Todd English or some big ticket item like a huge treadmill) are pretty much the only things on for the weekend. On the other shopping channel, the cooking shows have a lot of products. On hsn, it's the same products for hours on end, alternating with another product for hours on end, then back to the first product for another few hours. Even if I'm not buying, I like window shopping, and it's no fun watching the same presentations all day.

I admit it...I fell for the hype. These are absolutely the WORST "nonstick" cookware i've ever owned. I should have just gone to Wal Mart and get their cheapest set, it would have performed better than this "stuff" (they wouldn't print what I really called it). I read another post where the person said Todd looked angry because they wouldn't allow him to talk more. I think he was angry because he is contractually obligated to continue promoting something that just doesn't work.

my TSV grill pan was terrific.....for the first 5 uses. I can't even get it shiney clean like I did at first. I put it in the dishwasher yesterday, still not real clean (after scrubbing like crazy)...I seasoned it again tonight and used it. My steak .

it's going back tomorrow, it's way too expensive and high maintenance to keep. What a shame they LIE.
