Hi everyone. I hope all of you are well and are having nice weather. After all the rain that we had we have this entire week with Fall temperatures, sunny skies and no rain, until next week.
snappy & devia, I am sending get well wishes to your hubbies and hope they start feeling well soon. Snappy, good luck to your hubby on his biopsy.
Bassett, I hope you are doing better after your fall.

GardenMama, I see you posting occasionally but from what I've read here, you have been busy sprucing up the house.
I'm still alive and well (for my age). I'm going in on Thursday afternoon for my procedure again on my back. This time their are aiming for the facet joint and hoping that it takes care of the problem that I am having. If not, he may have to go back in to do another one in the nerve.
I hope everyone has a great week in case I don't get back on here this week.
When I get tired of shopping, I just sit down and try on shoes

dftx-it's so nice to hear from you,and hoping you have good-luck with your back ... and snappy i'm so sorry about the fires there,and hoping that your hubby has some relief with his tooth,ache!!!!!!!, and thank-you for the kind thoughts to all of you, as my hubby is feeling better, now, and the vick's bottle is still his best-buddy...

DFTX, it's really good to hear from you. But, I'm really sorry you continue to have trouble with your back. I don't even know what a facet joint is, but I pray the treatment will be successful and you will get relief. Pain is so exhausting. I'm sure I can't even imagine what you go through all the time. Yet you come here and are always reaching out to give a word of encouragement to others, while being open about your own needs. That's really special, and I thank you for all your well wishes for us.
devia, the fires have left us with lots of smoke and ash, and my eyes are bothering me, but the firefighters did a fabulous job, as always. Good night, friends.

snappy i sure feel for you, as it hurts my eyes and throat just to think about the fires there!!!! people here have been burning leaves all over town, and it really bothers me...as the smoke is everywhere...  my throat is very sensitive, as i could never smoke-or-stand the smell of smoke...  as i'm getting older it bothers me even more !!! so i'm wishing you and your hubby the best of luck with the smoke..

devia, we aren't allowed to burn anything here. when I was a kid, everyone had a trash burner in the back yard. It was generally made of cement, and we would put our trash in there and burn it, but California stopped that long ago. Too much pollution and too big a fire hazard.

Happy Thursday to everyone. Raeli, so glad you heard from Flo. I've been wondering if she would be allowed to
have contact with the outside world. Brrrrrrr! It's all for a good cause.
I posted a biopsy update on the thread rose began for hubby and me.
Today I have to take him to the dentist. Never a dull moment.
BASSETBABE, sounds like a good Monk! Look forward to it.
