thanks coco-for page 73....yes i have been trying to get him to got to see the dr. as i think you are so-right, as he sounds like it's in his chest and lungs..but he is one-stubborn dude...he went to work today, and came for lunch, an says he's feeling a little-better, seems like everyone he works with also has it...vick's is his best-friend right, now!!!! hoping that you get to feeling better....and thank-you.

Hi devia, I had to get the banking and grocery shopping done today. Then some laundry, and make an appointment with hubby's dentist as the tooth they worked on is hurting. so, we go there tomorrow afternoon. His biopsy has been scheduled for November 9th. We have to be at the hospital at 9:30 a.m. and the biopsy will be at 11:00 a.m.
I need to get my blood work redone, so I go there on Wednesday. Friday is an appt. with the optholmologist.
Looks like Thursday is free. I guess that's when I clean house. :)
Hope you get your hubby to the doc, and that he feels better soon.

boy! snappy you have been one busy person, and it sounds like no-let-up......i feel for your hubby with a tooth ache-as that can be very painful..i always dread going to the dentist..we will be wishing for a good report on Nov. 9-also...for your hubby..and also for your-blood work that you have to have re-done...my hubby is his own dr. i guess...he just thinks he has a sinus infection??? i need to clean house also..went to the grocery store today and i always dread that...everything looks and smells good....thank-you snappy for the kindness...

Snappy, what a week you are having! Drs/Dentists/Drs/................plus cleaning house?.......never a dull moment for you!!! I hope you are able to take time out of your busy week to take a breather....and enjoy a frap (or two)!!!

Hi everyone! I Just wanted to stop in and say a quick hi since I actually have a little free time. I have been redecorating the bathroom and trying to rearrange the bedrooms on top of everything else. I am just really busy these days as I can see some of you are too!

devia, Raeli, and GardenMama, a few minutes ago, I found the thread started by Rose. I left a long epistle there. It was such an amazing thing to scroll down and find our names. It's a wonderful idea and a tremendous gift to me. Thank you all so much.
I had a chest xray last week because my doc thought he heard something in my left lung, but the report came back negative. My blood work is good also, but the potassium is high. Never heard of that, but I have to go on Wednesday to have it redone, as it may have been a lab error.
Hubby has a sensitive tooth, so I have to take him to the dental oncologist tomorrow. That's where you have to leave a body part or two in payment. But, this is a tooth they just worked on, so maybe it won't be too bad.
Raeli, this is the plain, unvarnished truth. Hubby and I have a frap EVERY day. It's our big vice.
Hope you all have a wonderful evening. It's only 4:17 here, and getting dark! Hubby slept better last night which was a big blessing to both of us.:)

rae-garden, and snappy so glad to read your posts, and all of you are so ambitious...garden thank-you so much for telling us about dude and retro,as i so think of them often, so that really makes my day,as i'm glad they are o.k. and yes i miss mink, also...as i know everyone is so busy this time of the year...yes garden my hubby is so stubborn,as he tells himself what is wrong with him...like he is trying to convince himself...

devia, before he got the cancer diagnosis, my hubby was also his own doctor, and his own dentist, etc.
But, it all got taken out of his hands, and now he doesn't argue about seeing the doctor. Doesn't like it, but goes. Even if your hubby does have a sinus infection, it can get really hard to shake. Let's hope he will seek help (oh, my a man seeking help???)if he really needs it. Have a nice night, devia.
Raeli, I find myself rooting for the Phillies, even though they beat the Dodgers.

A-BIG-SHOUT-OUT to everyone on this Tuesday-morning!!!!! we have sunshine!!!! as that is a good-thing, and i'm happy for the farmers as now they can get in the fields!!!!! good-news everyone my hubby is better this morning and got a good night's sleep, without coughing all night!!!! so thanks everyone for the concerns....i'm meeting hubby for lunch,as it's ham,bean,cornbread-day hope all of you will have a great-day..stay-safe...

Garden,How good to see you and sounds like you have been a very busy lady.Please tell Dude and Retro that I said HI to them.
Hope we hear from Minky,Trumansmom ,MsLomo and I sure do miss Mollysmommy.I wish she would check in with us and let us know how she is doing after the loss of her husband.
Snappy,I saw where the biopsy is scheduled.I agree with the others,you have a very busy week ahead of you,with so many dr and dental appts...I think of and pray for you and your husband every day.Hope you are getting rest and find out about your potassium.My husband's tends to go up,due to a BP med he is on.So dr keeps an eye on it.
Devia,How is your husband today?I hope he will get to the dr if he does not get well soon.So many bugs going around and it's not even Winter yet.

It is cool this morning but actually not supposed to rain this week.

good-morning bass, and thank-you, yes i hope hubby is on his way to recovery,he took a Tylenol before bed last night, and i think it really helped, him.....yes i think the ham,beans, cornbread will do him good-today, like soul-food....here's hoping you and your hubby will have a great-day!!!!

Good evening one and all. We had another day right around 90 degrees, but it's going down soon. It gets dark so early that it gets cool earlier. Ahhh!
Had to cancel hubby's dental appointment today as fires around us blocked the freeways. Now he will be going on Thursday. Well, I did get my kitchen/fam rm. floors vacuumed and washed. Always a silver lining.
Enjoy your evening whatever you chose to do.
