snappy-it looks as though flo-is a busy scarecrow-for sure....yes i bet rae needs her back home, helping her with the Christmas venture....but flo is on a venture herself it seems..at the NORTH-POLE!! santa's helper!!!

Hello friends. I've been away for a while AGAIN with this funky respiratory thing that just will not let go.
I tested positive for regular flu (not H1N1) but I've had the flu before and this is different
in the way it's attacked my lungs.
It's good to have this nice thread to come to when I'm sitting up in bed, with a heating pad across my shoulders
playing around on my laptop. My SO is a love and has been pampering me all weekend. I surely don't deserve the
attention.
Hope all who post here are enjoying a peacefull day and above all, good health.
p.s. am I having to hit "return" to keep my post viewable because of the large Halloween post above? everyone's
posts are cut off...

was wondering where you were. Glad you're feeling better.
The heating pad sounds good, and I hope your lungs
are clear very soon. (I am hitting the "return" manually,

Oh Snappy. 80's sounds so wonderful to me. Although it's not bad- mid 60's- here.
MsLomo, the heating pad is my favorite thing when I'm sick. And lots of tea, of course.
I think the manual "return" problem will work itself out when we go onto the next page.

Coco,So I have a kindred spirit when it comes to the heating pad. I feel like an old woman with mine but it sure will help ease the pain.
I have been missing you and sure hope you get well fast.Yes,you deserve that pampering,so just enjoy it.
April,Devia,MsLomo and Snappy,How good to see each of you.
It was in the high60's today,my kind of weather.Rain finally stopped ,so the bassets were very happy playing outside while we walked.They get under the feet at times, so I have to caution them not to make me fall.But the cooler temps just give them so much energy.
Hope everyone had a safe Halloween and enjoy the candy you have left.

Thank you for your get well wishes. I slept well last night and it's amazing what a good night's
sleep will do to heal the body. I still don't feel 100%, but I'll take a blocked left ear over
coughing and wheezing any time.
Devia, please get your husband to the docs. It's important to rule out pneumonia. There's a LOT of
pneumonia going around.
