The Face Trainer really works! I have used it twice a day for almost a week and cannot believe the difference. My face actually looks brighter, and more lifted and toned all over. My forehead is smoothed out and lifted. Eyes look more open and eyebrows lifted. Jaw and cheekbones lifted. I am just overwhelmed with the overall brightness and even appearance of my skintone though. My skin is toned and tightened all over. It is amazing. I wrote a review on the actual product page but there is really not room to write enough about it. There are numerous poor reviews, which I am sad about. There are alot of complaints about the price and the fact that it needs to be replaced relatively soon..like go to the next level in 60-90 days and get a new device in 4-6 months. Actually. I believe it will last much much longer but is a suggestion from the manufacturer. Maybe it stretches out in time or is a hygeince issue. I don't know. But this thing is really amazing. It literally takes minutes. My jaw is very sore from exercising but when I saw I was getting results, I kept on. The soreness will get better with time, but if you have TMJ, be careful. The price is worth it for the results I got. If I replace it once a year, that still wouldn't be bad, considering what it does for me, what I spend on products, etc. each year. One of my coworkers is an HSN beauty junkie too and she has been watching out for my results and is buying one now. Yes, it is expensive, but so is alot of the things we buy to look good...we have done it. Enough said about that. I am guilty too. Yes, you may feel claustrophobic at first. It has a very small face opening.(one review said..I'm paraphrasing...a chipmunk could not put his face in it.)Yes, it is tight...you can adjust the straps if you need to. It has to be tight and firm in the right areas to hold the muscles in place to do the exercises. I have tried facial exercises in the past and know they can work..you know...the manual kind with your fingers in the right positions. Problem was, my fingers would slip or get tired or sore and I could not do it right or long enough. Fatigue and soreness did not allow effectiveness for me. The Face Trainer is a shocking surprise for me. I am glad though. I will continue to use it and go on from there. It actually takes very little time. Once you get the exercises down, it is great. It actually is easy. It is as easy as it can be. I do it while I watch televion. By the way, the instructional DVD is well made and the guy that brought the product is in it and the demonstations are well done. Sorry this is so lengthy but I wanted to give a thorough and honest review.
edit: I do feel people judged too quickly without really trying out the product. I hope people give it a chance, in all fairness. In case anyone was wondering, I have an average size face and head (to fit the device) and will be 49 years old later in the summer. I don't have alot of sagging or lines but the changes the last few years in my face and body are very noticable to me and I would consider them normal for my age.

thank you for your review marilyn. i am glad you are seeing results you want. i was tempted by this product but the reviews are horrid. you are right, many gave a low rating due to the instructions saying the the mask needs to be replaced every couple of months. but i really cant say i blame them for that. hsn and the representitive should have been upfront about that during the presentation and this should also be listed on the product page. for many/most people $200 is a pretty big investment, let alone $200 every few months. it is much better if the salesperson is honest about the product. otherwise you end up with a lot of very upset people who feel like they have been taken.
imo, no!no! already has a sketchy rep and reviews with their hair removal system. i have to wonder if they will be around hsn for long.
again, i am glad that you are pleased with your purchase and i hope that you will continue to update on your progress. better yet, post pics on another beauty website. as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words! i'd love to see them !!
i have been doing facial exercises using my fingers and hands like you mentioned and sometimes i think i see a difference, other times i feel like, eh.... but is is cheap. it definitely had that going for it! hehehe

I actually have the no!no! hair remover system and I think it works great too. The key is to follow directions. I can use the laser hair remover and buff and shave afterwards and am smooth for over 2 weeks before feeling any regrowth and it is less each time. I don't think reviewers gave it a chance either. They either did it without properly reading instructions or used the wrong tip. I used the long hair tip first and then when over the areas with the tip for shorter hair and it worked like a charm. Key if to go slow and hear it make contact over the area. It is very time consuming but the results last for quite awhile. As far as the Face Trainer, I did not take any formal before pics. I am just doing it for me. I had trouble doing the manual exercises and this is so easy. It is expensive for most people but I'm sure is nothing for celebrity clients. I got it on the flexible payements in case I didn't like it. The results speak for themselves. I watched the video with Suzanne Runyan as host a few times since it came out to see again the before and afters. The one woman with longer blond hair that just had before and after photos was amazing. I ordered the product after watching that particular show. I am one of those people who try just about every product that comes out. I have to see for myself. I think they all work but in different ways and intensities. Some do better than others depending on your skin type, muscle tone, etc. I am anxious to see the results after a whole month but wanted to post a review as soon as I could tell if I was making a difference or not.

Last night my husband told me I was looking great. He said "what are you doing now?, your face looks great...does that Malibu Pilates chair do stuff to your face too? It must because Susan Lucci looks real good!" I told him that I haven't had my face on the chair yet !!! He has not seen me yet in my "Hannibal Lechter" get-up , but if he did I am sure he would be in shock. He always tells me I look great, but when he makes a special point of saying something like that, I know it is definately showing...you know how husbands are. Tonight I went ahead and started the exercises that you do after getting down the basics. I am excited and anxious to do this each day now.

When I tried to do ALL the exercises together for the first time, the Basic Training and the Advanced Techniques, it took quite some time because I think it was a little intimidating trying to do them the right way with the mask on. It was easy doing the two basic exercises, but when adding the rest, I had a harder time focusing...I felt I was trying too hard. I felt it was a little difficult to concentrate on what I was doing because I was so focused on wondering if I was doing it correctly...the tightness and feeling of being so enclosed in the mask makes it hard to totally concentrate. Feeling my face scrunched so tightly in that tiny space and having such a small opening is overwhelming when you actually have it on. So on my way home from work this morning I had an idea I couldn't wait to try. I gave the exercises a quick once-over first with the mask OFF so I can get the feel of how to do it....THEN I put the mask on and did them. It made a world of difference. I didn't have to think too much of what I had to do...I just did it. It went faster and smoother that way and I wasn't so worried about what I was doing. This morning I looked in the mirror and felt like a noticed more improvement in my jawline and the little bit of fatty area right above the nose and between the eyes is not there anymore. That area is more raised since my forehead and eyebrows are a little more lifted. Even with the other devices I have used, it never actually looked like it made progress in that little fat above the nose area. Has anyone else bought the Face Trainer??? I would love to hear about your progress too if you have.

Progress Report. I just finished working the entire night shift. The girl that came in to relieve me this morning immediately said "OMG, What have you done? Your face looks so bright? I can believe you look so fresh and bright and you just worked all night?" (this is not my coworker who knows about the FaceTrainer already). I told her about the FaceTrainer and that maybe my BHRT may be helping too..(taking them since Feb). I am not using different makeup...(L'Oreal colorMatch Foundation mixed with a drop of Dr. Graf's HydraSilk Foundation, Lauren Hutton Face Disc and Passport from Brazil , Adrienne's bronzer, and Ready to Wear powder on top.) Now, let me tell you, I last saw this girl last Thursday morning, only 5 days ago, and she said she was amazed at how I looked this morning. She said she couldn't put her finger on it except to say I looked just so nice and bright but it was very noticable. I have used the FaceTrainer just barely over a week. When I was preparing for work last night I felt like I could tell there has been more lifting and overall tightness across my forehead and raising the eyebrow area, and cheeks look higher, and jowl and chin area toned and firmer...no signs of the slightest, tiniest jowl. I have not even used my Dr. Graf collagen infusion for over a month or so. I must say I am really liking this alot. I try to do it in the morning for a few minutes before I get some sleep and then in the afternoon, while watching General Hospital, I do a total full facial workout. Practicing the workout without the mask has made a huge difference in being able to tolerate it and do the workout properly and without too much worry or fuss. It is pretty tight and you feel a little smothered. Now that I have had such a great response to it, I don't see it as a chore. This has been pretty exciting, I must say.

Thanks a lot, ladies, for tempting me with a new toy. I was hoping the negative reviews were true. (Kidding). I would love to hear more from people who are sticking with it and getting results, including how old they are and what they bought it to target!

Yesterday I thought I was noticing improvement in the nose to mouth line areas. Today I can really tell I was right. There is a noticable difference and my face looks alot more youthful with the decrease of indentation and increased tone in that area. I thought it was wishful thinking but now I know for sure. I am so glad this is turning out to be such a sucess for me. I still would like to hear from others who are trying it now if they read the boards here. I was able to do my exercises this morning in about 10 minutes while watching the news. I can pretty much do it routinely without looking at the booklet or giving it too much thought. I am so happy !!! The brightness in my skin is amazing. I think it is really helping get oxygen to where it needs to go. Just an overall clearer and more youthful appearance. My husband really notices.

marilynv - I love your detailed reviews! Please keep posting! I really need to know how long these last before trying it...I don't want to fall in love with it, and then not be able to keep up purchasing them. I'm hoping the price will come down some. I'm so glad your results are contuing to be awesome! LL

There is a new game to play now, here on HSN. Having a coupon or gift card would have been nice when I made my purchase. I think a bigger purchase like the Face Trainer is the perfect chance to use a gift card or coupon to make it more affordable.

It is sold here on HSN. It is costly. It is a very tight mask made out of a material that really helps hold the face/muscles in place while you do the facial exercises that you learn in the instructions. It has velcro on the ends of the straps , so if you feel it is too tight or too loose you can make adjustments. Reviews or not the best but that is because of price complaints or people not realizing you need to replace your mask every so often, or they did n't really try it because they can't get past the price or the tightness first. I am really loving it. I am really seeing fabulous results. It is VERY tight, but it needs to be in order to hold your face firmly while you do the actual exercises. If I find it too tight around the middle of the face and eyes, I loosen the middle strap that goes around the back of the head behind the eyes. You are doing the exercises yourself without the use of any electrical device, so that is why the price is scary...you think why so much money?? Probably to pay for all the design development and testing right now, but I am hoping the price goes down some in the future. So far, the price is worth the results I see, but I barely used it for 2 weeks. It did not take long to learn the exercises at all. Of course, everyone needs to find what works best for them. It is definately an individual choice. Everyone is different and some things work better for some and not for others. I am posting my reviews so I can be honest and really give people a true idea on how it is working. I am hoping that since I have posted in the boards for awhile that people will trust my opinion, as I trust the opinions of the other here. That is why I come here to read the boards. There is a trust here between everyone and if we have questions or need help, everyone here is there for each other. I have tried other products and really like alot of them but love trying new things and wanted to see what is was about.

I am really noticing more now the area from the nose to mouth and area above the nose (between the eyes) and the forehead is more smooth and lifted. My cheeks seem firmer, causing the nose to mouth line area to be smoothed out. All around the eyes seem brighter and no puffiness or sagging. I am truly amazed. I noticed it a few days ago but can tell more now. I can't wait each day to use it and see that little bit of progress as time goes on. I have to say though, that my husband saw me wearing it and using it for the first time yesterday and started screaming.."OMG!! OMG!!" He ran outside and came back in saying he had to go look at our door and check the house # to see if he was in the right house...very funny dear..ha ha....anyway, he totally flipped. Then he said, "don't even tell me how much that thing cost". He never asks because I work and have my own money, but he said ," oh, so that's what you're doing...ok". Anyway, he can tell the results. Yesterday afternoon we went to the matinee performance of Jersey Boys (which was fantastic). The woman next to me commented at intermission that I was too young to know the music. I told her I used to have most of the records and knew all the music quite well. She said I looked way too young and then found out she was only 4 years older than me. Now she said she will look at the facemaster, nutritone, facetrainer, etc after I told her exercising the muscles of the face really works.
