Flo is prepping for her big trip to Santa-ville........She's standing outside in the cold trying to weatherize herself against the sub-zero temps in the North Pole.....She should be receiving a letter this week telling her when Santa's limo will be picking her up.......

How exciting for all of you! That woman is a force to be reckoned with, isn't she? Such self sacrifice for the sake of the world's children. I'm thinking she deserves the Nobel prize.

Hi all. Had my dental appointment. Went well. In 3 weeks I get the onlay (similar to a crown).
I called hubby's doc today regarding the biopsly. The hospital received the film yesterday, so we should hear soon about a date for his biopsy. Thank you all for continuing to care about us.
Enjoy your evening.

devia, we have roses, geraniums, petunias, euryopes, oleander, vinca, snap dragons, bougainvillea (sp), chrysanthymums and other things in bloom. It's in the 80s today going up another 10 degrees early next week.
Hoping for no more liquid amber trees.
Enjoy the holiday and the weekend, devia, and everyone else. :)

Rae, I've never heard of a gooseberry, what exactly is it and what part of the country is it grown in?
Hey, just a minute..I am RAE..Just plain Rae..but I use luckydog. I haven't met many (if any) real Rae's..I wish my mother added something like Raelene, etc..But since too many Rae's would cofuse us, I guess I'll just stay with luckydog..Winking I have heard of gooseberries all of my life, but I don't know how to prepare them They are VERY tart, so lotsa sugar in order..Type Epicurious in your browser. I go there when I need help with food..

If you are a "if at first you don't suceed, try, try again" person; don't go skydiving!!

It's been a beautiful day in the low 80s, Gorgeous. We have singing birds pretty much all year. Of course once we have to close the windows, we don't hear them as much.

Can't believe it's almost 2010! Remember the Y2K hoopla? That was nearly 10 years ago! Wowzer!
I bought a few Christmas gifts last night. Feel good about at least making a start.
Enjoy your evening.
