My wish list is not for material things because that is not the true meaning & reason for Christmas celebrations.

I want myself, my hubby, our kida & grandkids to have good or better health

I also enjoy spending time with famile & friends

The merchants use Christmas as a money maker....NO THANKS

I seem to be in the minority here but I must admit to being a true Christmas lover. It is a magical time of yr for the kids and I have so many fond memories of my mama shaking her gifts under the tree, just like we did.

We have a huge park on the lake and each yr it is all lit up beautifully. You can visit it,for a donation to charity and I truly feel like a child again when we do.

My husband makes many of the items we gift,so I like the idea that long after we are gone,a part of him is still with our family and friends.

We never forget the true meaning of Christmas but we also enjoy giving gifts.

My Christmas wish is for my loved ones to be well, the economy to get much better so noone has to be without a job and lose their home.

One of the best presents I could get would be to hear there is a cure for Alzheimer's disease. I take care of a dear family member who suffers from it - and it is heartbreaking. It is so painful to watch someone you love just slowly slip away.

JOHNBABY, my heart goes out to you in the loss of your beloved son. So sorry.

Because my hubby is ill, being with the family is especially important this year. One of our daughters is going to try to get a photographer to be at her house at Thanksgiving so we can get some nice pictures.
We love celebrating Christmas, the birth of Jesus.

It seems the meaning of Christmas has evolved in my family....We now make plans to gather at various homes of family
members and enjoy good company and, of course, good food!!

Gee, please don't get me wrong about Christmas. Its my favorite holiday & I enjoy it and look forward to it just like the next person, but I don't need material things to be able to celebrate.

If I want something during the course of the year, I buy it. I would hate to see my kids spend money that they might not have just to buy me something. DH & I give our kids (grown) money and we buy gifts for the grandkids.

Most importantly, the only thing that I would like to put on a wish list is for good health for everyone in my family.
