SandGirl wrote: Was wondering, have you tried Dr Graf? And you like Elysee better? I've been on teh fence over both of these and was trying Dr Graf due to the retinol benefits.....Elysee gets great reviews, I may have to try some
I have tried both skincare lines. I tried Dr Graf several years ago, prior to trying Elysee, and I sent it back because I didn't see results other than very irritated skin. I have heard Linda Marshall say during her presentations that Elysee uses Matrixyl instead of Retinol. She said that the reason doctors stick to Retinol is becasue it is cheaper than Matrixyl. Matrixyl gives the same results in half the time, without the problems associated with Retinol, like irritation and sun sensitivity. Everyone is going to respond differently to the various lines. But from what I see, Elysee has much more effective ingredients and at the correct levels. Of all the lines I have seen anywhere, I feel they are the most trustworthy and honest. And I have never gotten such wonderful results as I have with the line. I dabble and stray sometimes, but nothing else compares.

I have the best luck with Elysee. There are different kits for different skin types. Some of the host picks or sampler kits are wonderful places to start.

Does Elysee and Isomers use the same ingredients? they seem a lot alike, when I hear about Elysee I sorta have to look twice and think "that sounds just like Isomers" I have never tried Isomers either.

I think that Isomers and Elysee are the top lines. I was watching some Isomers shows on SNBC tonight and they had a product that is similar to Elysee. I pulled out my Elysee and compared ingredients. Elysee had the active ingredient listed higher up than Isomers so I didn't order. I have used Isomers in the past and liked the products but found it confusing. Elysee is my mainstay anymore.
Recently I bought some new items from SNBC. Some from Skinn and from Kellie Olver. I used KO Zyming mask today and my face is tore up. It almost looks like welts on my cheeks and chin. Lovely. It seems whenever I stray from Elysee skincare, I pay a price front and center on my face. KO is going back, obviously. I hope after a good nights sleep my face will look a bit better than it does right now.

pufferfishy OMGoodness, I really hope your poor face is better this morning. Put a paste of baking soda on your face then lay a cool wash cloth over your face to calm things down. Yup, when we stray we pay. That is really why I like to only use 1 line and not mix. I'm just searching for my HG line and un-like some I jsut want to STICK WITH IT and not switch again, I want to END MY SEARCH not cont. it.

pufferfishy - - - I hope you're better as well.
I have to disagree with with baking soda mask. It will raise the pH of your skin and make it vulnerable to bacteria.
If you're still having an allergic reaction, some aloe or vitamin E oil will soothe it. If it's bad, you can use some hydrocortisone cream for a day or two.

It depends on what ur looking for your skincare 2 do and age. I'm in my 20's and I like Ice Elements. My skin is so hydrated bc if IE. My 60yr old Aunt also uses IE& what it did 4 her skin was amazing. Also, imop I would highly rec' using Retinol. Nothing compares. The IE paired w the retinol is great for me. I use many other lines that have excellent products but they r not found at HSN. I use some Kate Somerville,Clarins, LaMer and Perricone and Skincuetucals. If I had 2 rec' just one powerhouse line w amazing actives, I would say 2 check out Skincuetucals. -the Skincueticals and Retinol for actives -Ice Elements 2 moisturize, hydrate and soothe skin. Their 2MM exfoliator is awesome. Check out the reviews. It works yet us soooo gentle and moisturizing. Good luck and I hope u find ur HG's

Thank you Sandgirl and KathyJo my skin is looking better today. The welts are gone but now it feels rough and dry. My skin is highly sensitive and really tends to flip out if I try different products. Enzymes and peels and acids and anything harsh is nothing but certain trouble for my face. I don't know why I try them, the results are always disasterous. Will I ever learn?
Sandgirl, you can purchase some samples of Elysee items for something like $6-7 for six different samples. It is a good way to try things out and not spend megabucks. You can get them by calling their office.

I like SCA and some of SSC. Lately I have been buying more of SCA. The 5 essentials I have on autoship along with the meltdown. The Morroccan Argon oil is another excellent product. I like SSC olive oil kit, the replicate and renew although I think its pricy for what it does especially the serum which is only 1oz. I like deals and great pricing on kits and I think both these lines do just that.

I like Dr. Graf's items the best, and I also use Wei East when my skin is dry in the winter. I have tried Elysee one time in a "try me kit" and I didn't see any results. You guys who use her line how long did it take to see results. Maybe I need to try her products longer than a month, what do you think?

kimd24, I used Elysee for over a year and saw no results. I kept thinking there must have been something wrong with me. The owner says, give me a month and I will show you younger, better looking skin. My conclusion to that is if you don't see any results in that period of time, move on.

Thank you Itvo5, I appreciate you telling me your experience. Now I don't feel like I was the only one not getting results. There was so many "great" reviews I thought I was doing something wrong.

kimd24, You are welcome. I kept being advised to use another product until I purchased over 20 products ($$$$$). I finally wised up and realized this wasn't the line for me.
