devia, about to go to get our fraps from *bucks. Hubby is still asleep, but will get up soon. I have an eye doc appointment this afternoon, and I'm glad. I have such dry eyes, and the drops I'm using help, but I hope he can do something else. Also will get my vision tested.

My eye doc said my corneas are starting to get scratched by the dry eyelids. Years ago he put plugs into my tear ducts. One of them is gone, so he is ordering new ones and putting them in the upper ducts as well. He's such a great doc and a handsome rascal. Yes siree. If I were younger, and single..... I do appreciate a good work of art, don't you? I'm using drops several times a day and they do help. He said this happens to everyone as we age

Thank you, devia. We are truly blessed. I can't imagine how all these years have gone by. It's amazing to me. I was 18 when we married, so I hardly remember anything else. I was a child, then a wife, then a mother.

Thanks to all of you for your anniversary wishes.
Hubby isn't having a very good day. Slept from 10 a.m. until after 1 p.m. then had a little lunch, still in pjs. He's a bit down because he wishes he could have gone out and gotten something for me. He did ask our daughter to bring me some roses (from him) and a card. I'm just so thankful to have him with me. It isn't as if he forgot the day, but I do know how he must feel. Hope all of you enjoy your evening.
