Beautiful 70 degree day here. Birds singing, almost time to think about lunch.
Enjoy your Friday. The weekend is coming! :)

we have birdies all year, but we don't hear them as much when the windows are closed. The leaves are starting to fall off our fruit trees. A pitiful attempt at fall in the southland. But, we like it.

It's down in the high 30's here tonight and miserable outside. It's been thundering and pouring all day. The wind is blowing and a funnel cloud was spotted about 20 miles south of here today....but didn't touch down. It's terrible
weather outside but we are warm and dry in our house.....and we are thankful!

That sounds sort of scarey, Raeli, but isn't it wonderful to be cozy in a warm place with the ones you love?
It got up to probably 75 today, but cooled off as soon as it got dark, which seems alarminly early these days.
Hope you have a nice night.

My ll said he was gonna have to mow again. The poor flowers and bulbs r so confused they do know to come out or go dormant. Surfing

Anyone force bulbs? If so, what kind do you plant? I'm planting tulips and paperwhites this year. I'm hoping they will
bloom by Christmas......my fingers are crossed.

Crocus are so pretty when they peak their heads out of the frozen dirt in the springtime. The plants that I'm forcing "put in dirt and placed in the frig for 3 weeks"........should be blooming by Christmas, or shortly thereafter.
