I need to get a new virus protection on my computer and want to know, which is the best one out on the market, without any problems? My plan is getting ready to expire. Any help, much appreciated. Thank you!!! Winking

I have used the free version of AVG for quite some time on desktops, notebooks and netbooks and it works well for all computers for me. The free 9.0 AVG is now available for download. They also have a paid version if you feel basic coverage is not enough for you.

Where did all the posts go regarding Vipre by sunbelt? I swore there were more posts..... Anyway, I highly recommend Vipre Antivirus + Antispyware. It does not bog down your system and it really works where some of the other commercial brands will not.

I have no idea where they went either as I do not see some of them that I know were there. I have been actively involved with computer security for 25 years now and I believe the current best product because of its protection, detection, removal, and American tech support is VIPRE by Sunbelt.

Webroot is great also! The Geek Squad from Best Buy installed it when I purchased my Sony Vaio.

I have Norton 360 (version 3.0). I bought it through e-bay. I've had no problems with it ever.
