[quote=CheapGal] Jewelry - has anyone seen a gem show that had citrine stones or that pretty watermelon.

The problem with tourmaline in general is the expense..All are high. I have a couple of bi-color tormalines, but one can't get good ones reasonalby..if you see it..BUY it now, same as GOOD Tanzi..See it..Buy it, but a lot of it is very light shaded or even gray..and who can afford the larger gemmy stones..Yikes..Citrine is kinda pretty but I don't think many people like it..like Peridot, its kinda yukky, but I really don't like Peridot. It is my poor neices birth stone. She hates it too..I got her a ring for Christmas this year..Bought today, so she will have the hated Peridot in her drawer anyway..She will hate me..NOT..I don't like my birthstone either..(garnet),so I have things in every color including the red, but I have geeen, raspberry, etc., so I can wear my birthstone, without it being a dull red garnet..

If you are a "if at first you don't suceed, try, try again" person; don't go skydiving!!

New moissanite on 4 - 5 flex pays! Love the stone, can't always afford the big purchase!

Moissanite...Go figure..A man made stone, which is a looker for sure, which is so expensive that it is almost as much as a diamond..I have real REAL alexandrite, that didn't cost as much as Moissanite..It is pretty, but really..the money..I can't see it.

luckydog47, I responded to the original question. There is no reason for you to bash my opinion.

I miss the Essence of Time full line of products (especially the light colored soap and their lipsticks). I still order directly from their Company but I wish HSN would add them back. HSN still sells their cream. Their products are wonderful and reasonable. Also, I still order Connie Steven's Collagen Skin Quencher directly from her Company. I have asked HSN to bring her products back also.

OK, I'm with the other ones that mentioned they really miss the "Forever Spring" by Connie Steven's line. I found her website, but the products are too expensive on their own. With HSN they had such good package specials and affordable prices on her items.

Also, although I really love Adrienne Arpel's Signature Club A line, I still miss her original line with the black & white packaging. She had certain items that went away when she changed to the SCA brand, such as her Swiss Almond formula hand cream and shampoo which had a fabulous scent that I really loved or her Flower Acid line especially the Refresher spray.

Connie Stevens.

And Adrianne's cleanser and toner
that was in the beauty by the pound
kit. I didn't care for the vanilla
products in the kit, but that cleanser
and toner were the best -- and also the
original 5 essentials cream.

Are you kidding??? My birthstone is a diamond, and still anytime there is a birthstone ring on, I buy garnet!!! I love that stone! Go figure, huh??

I guess I also didn't realize tourmaline was so expensive now. I thought it was a semi precious stone and HSN still carries PRECIOUS stones (like sapphires) for reasonable prices so I guess I figured they could still get ahold of tourmaline and sell it for reasonable prices too...

I still want the choice of viewing online (hsn website) the last week's previously aired shows in the hour format.

I also miss Cervelle. I had a lot of Cervelle clothes that were very pretty - and reasonably priced.

Also, Essence of Time - I used to love watching those presentations, and I did actually get some, and as I recall it was quite good.

Please bring back the Rendezvous weekender tote, item 343-200. I bought it in the giraffe print (it came in black and zebra, also). I have gotten three requests from friends who want this for Christmas. I'm going to be put into the "Dumper" if I don't deliver! Please bring it back, it's very popular.

Miss Suzanne Somers and Chantal skin care products on HSN although I know where to find both - to name a few of the people and things I miss on HSN

YES!!!I loaded up on Suzanne Somers Original skin line with the scrub face wash and all the green apple body stuff. I even got the shampoo and anti frizz. I gave away SO much as gifts and EVERYBODY LOVED IT! Whenever company stayed at my house they used my stuff in the shower and the FIRST thing they said when they came out of the bathroom was "WOW that Suzanne Somers stuff is insanely great! I feel SO good!, WHERE can I get some?".EVEN THE GUYS GUSHED ON and ON! The Pore Little Me mask and the rest. I never tried the Chantal but LOTS of people liked it.
I am bummed at some of what is happened now. I mean WHY should I pay shipping on stuff I could take a Sunday drive and get at Sephora, unless they have a kit or set that you can't find anywhere else. I know A LOT of ladies that need comfortable mix and match clothes STILL miss Maggie Sweet. The line was a basic for a long time and the nice thing was you could still find things from years ago to the end that would work together. It was cut WAY too big and loose for me because I am very tiny but I notice they don't have ANYTHING to replace it. They used to have a lot of nice things unique to only HSN and not so much now. I DO love Miss Tina's (Beyonce's mom) design though. Really different, very feminine, sexy and pretty!

To this day I use the Bravetti blender/food processor that I bought in 2003. It's still as much a work horse as the day I bought it.

I have the pretty royal blue Bravetti mixer with the retractable cord, all the attachment mixing pieces like the whisk, dough hooks (great for making meat loaf too!),and a couple other attachments. It also sits upright on it's bottom so the handle is on the side and you can grab it easily. I have had it for a few years and it still is great! I wonder why I don't see the Bravetti items anymore. It is light and easy to use! You would think with it being affordable and user friendly it'd be available still!
Sig. Club A used to have the most FABULOUS retinol peach colored and delicious peachy scented gel wash, available in kits with retinol caps and 5E, then of course those DYNAMITE professional size sets that you would use with a massaging brush. Those bottles were each in 1 lb bottles, the gel cleanser, a vanilla bean scrub and a lovely moisturizer. You could use on face and body with the massaging brush. I MISS that FOAMING GEL OIL FREE CLEANSER !!!! It smelled like heaven, made your skin feel like a baby's bottom just by washing with it, it exfoliated with NO harsh scratching. I REALLY hope she might bring it back some day soon! Peter thomas Roth has copied it and it cost way more, I also tried another sample by someone else, seemed a copy with a higher price tag. It makes you wonder why and what happened.

Great minds think alike!!! I JUST wrote HOW much I missed NOT just the set but just the retinol gel cleanser as well!! She only has cream type of cleansers and I LOVED the gel cleanser and that FABULOUS Toner!!!! I remember when you could just mist it on your face. I REALLY wish she would bring that back even if she couldn't do the 1 lb bottles. It was THE best. It really made your skin feel like silk without even using the scrub or any manual exfoliator, the cleanser did it ALL by it self! LOVE!!!!!!!!!that stuff!

Dancing YAY! I really like their casual clothes. The stretch elastic waist capris were great for buffets! LOL!I did like Cervelle also. Essence of time body cream and serums were REALLY nice. The big blue 1 lb tubs that came in a trio of body cream was my FAVORITE! Also the Rubiglo was great for SO many uses. GREAT stuff!

Remember when HSN used to offer those huge skin care kits from SSC, Adriene and Marily Miglin? They used to have a treasure chest of goodies. I know that it is cost prohibitive but at least once a year they would offer one.
