HSN has some good deals on computers, but I will never buy Toshiba computer agian. Bought a Toshiba laptop lest than six months ago and I have already had to replace the hard drive and the DVD/CD drive. Seems that Toshiba's QA is not at the quality level it should be.

It's ironic that you said that,HammerFireDog! I just bought a Sony Vaio laptop at Best Buy, and I love it, but it was between this brand or Toshiba. I also heard that a lot of Toshiba's have overheating problems. Every laptop will have it's issues, but Gateway which I had prior to this, didn't even last me 3 years, and the person who repairs my pc's said he couldn't understand what was wrong with the Gateway, and he can fix just about anything on a pc. Got another professional opinion, and he said the same thing. It was some kind of hardware issue. Gateway's aren't made as well as they were so many years ago.

I've had 2 Toshiba laptops, the 2nd being a year old.
I've never had any problems but I don't use it much as
I bought it for a backup computer.

My sister and I both have Toshiba laptops...and - knock on wood - have not had any problems with them at all. Would recommend. Customer service is very helpful and they speak ENGLISH!!!
