I know the price of gold is outrageous. But please don't stop offering some gems in gold jewelry...... I love 14k yg leverback gem earrings and rings (rings with enough gold that they aren't top-heavy).

Thank you.

Peace

I agree PeaceMom. I hope some fine jewelry shows make a re-appearance before Christmas!

I do not understand why qvc and shopnbc are still offering gold and hsn can't. I think it is a waste to put 1ct. diamonds in sterling silver. What happen to Victoria Wieck's gold jewelry? I have at least 6 of her 14k gold rings. Evertime I have bought her vermeil it tarnishes after a short time. Vermeil is too pricey for what it is. The only place you see her gold is on clearance. Is she not doing any new pieces in 14k gold?

Victoria did a few gold pieces a couple of months ago if I remember correctly. I wasn't interested as she's still using white topaz as accent stones and I don't care for them, it just cheapens the whole piece IMO. I wonder if many of these new celebrity jewelry vendors are replacing Victoria and some of the older jewelry vendors? If so I'm not interested as either they are way overpriced for the mundane gemstones they are selling or their pieces are made of mystery metal, 10k, vermeil,or silver. I used to love HSN's gemstone shows but I don't even bother watching anymore. SNBC has gotten most of my recent jewelry purchases. They often have great deals and I've been pleased with most everything that I've bought.

We all know that the price of gold has gone up. However,HSN's $399-$599 for basic gemstones in silver is ridiculous. For those prices I can still buy something nice in 14 gold at ShopNBC or QVC on sale.

More gold was added today. I see lots of gold. (I shop online, dont really watch TV) They probably dont feature it on air because theres not enough quanitiy to go around, but if youre interested they always add new gold things every now and then. It's not as much as sterling silver but I think its an appropriate amount considering the economy.

It's a good thing that HSN isn't the only place we can buy gold.
I for one, buy all my gold from Fred Meyer in the clearance section.
