Well... again, it's all personal choice and we all know there are great alternatives to fur, leathers, skins, etc, but if a person doesn't mind wearing animal products, it's not likely I can change their mind. A lynx or fox is just as likely to injure a person as a ray or shark, even though they might be cuter. Minks are about as mean a little creature you can find, they are also super cute. I don't think an animal's cuteness, friendliness or cuddle factor makes it any more deserving of protection than another animal. I don't have leather shoes because I hate cows, and my distaste for fur isn't because I think minks are cute.

Also, how long ago was it that you purchased the by-pass bracelet from another shopping channel? Was wondering if they still might have some. Was it the channel in MN? Sorry for all the questions but I am really interested."

Yes, I think my stingray bracelet is tough enough to be an everyday piece. I don't wear it every day, because I am such a jewelry addict I have to rotate all my pieces and show 'em all off! But I think I could wear that one a lot -- the ray skin is definitely tough (sword handles, remember!). I got it from that channel that has the same name as a famous TV network; yes, they are in MN! Just looked - they still have the bracelet (it's more an open-ended design, not really a bypass, now that I see it again...) and also a cuff.
