I am wondering how this brand runs? Since i wear some shoes, boots in a wide width. I would like to know if they run narrow,or are generous in width? With many shoes, boots made oversea's i have some trouble selecting the right size.

My feet are not really wide, but need more room in the toe box area.

I also like the ones that have more of a rounded toe.

Really would like to hear from anyone that has this brand?

Thanks, Jag

I wear an 8M and have five pair of Sporto boots. I love them all. For me they fit true to size. But if you want to wear thick socks, you might want to size up or get wide. I got lucky and found my size on clearance at the end of the season a few years ago. But now I have black, brown, navy, wine and camel.
I have to admit that when I lived in NJ a couple of years back, my feet were still a bit cold with regular weight socks on. It's just trial and error.

I wear a narrow width and Sporto boots are too wide for me however I can make do with an intersole and heavy socks. I would think that they pretty much run true to size as I always have to make adjustments when I can't get a narrow boot (which is most of the time).

I love Sporto! I was able to buy 2 back in the summer on clearance. I wear ankle braces and it's almost impossible to try to find a shoe (especially a boot type) that I can wear. I can't wear a shoe with a heel and with the braces, I have to wear a wider width shoe. Sporto takes care of both issues. Without the braces, I'm normally a size 7.5M but with the braces, I'm a 8W or 8.5W. The ones I bought on clearance are 8.5W and they are fine.

I hope HSN continues to have this brand - a big thank you to HSN and Sporto!

I also love sporto! they make great boots! I wear an 8 1/2 or 9 in them which is true to my actual size so I'd say go for it with your usual size! :)

Jag70, I wanted to ask the same question, so thanks. I'm between a 7 and a 7.5, and between a medium and a wide. So I just guessed and went with 7.5 wide. I hope I guessed right. Ordered four pair! We shall see. Next time, I'll know.

Sometimes I take a 7 1/2 in shoes, sometimes an 8. I own the Sporto Patchwork boots (453-239) and went with the 8 so I could put thick socks with them and they are fine.

However, just fyi. I bought these boots at the end of last winter for $30.00 at Macy's. I got them in the black. I'm shocked to see HSN's price.

I'm going to say true to size, also. I had three pair (two pair of the shooties and one of the waterproof ankle) arrive today and I love them all. I'm between a 7 and 7.5 and between a medium and wide. I'm happy with the wide width, but they're all a little long. I can live with that, but next time, I'd order the 7 wide.

Well good thing i didn't order. I happen to check my cedar closet yesterday. I keep most of my ankle boots there. Wow i forgot i had ordered some AJV's in several colors. I also have a pair of black above ankle suede ones with animal print. Got them several years ago,and really don't need anymore. I have several AJV from last year, and prior years.

I got the blue and the black shooties. They fit me very well and are comfortable. I love them. I got my regular size. This is my first experience with Sporto.

I bought 2 pair of Sporto boots from Q~V~C a few years ago. I wear a 7 1/2 wide and they fit great with socks and keep your feet warm in the cold. They still look new.

This is my first experience with Sportos, too. I miscalculated my size and needed to exchange for a half size down in the shooties and a full size down in the waterproof ankle boots. It was a hassle, but now I'm happy. I ended up with the shooties in black and honey, and the waterproof ankle boot in navy. I'm all set. Now just watch; it probably won't rain again until spring.

I have two pairs of Sporto boots and wide feet, but not too wide. When I get medium shoes or boots, I always need an 8-1/2, but when there is a wide available the 8-1/2 is too big and I need an 8. Of course, there are some styles of shoes/boots of medium width that I can't get my foot in. I would have to cut off one of my toes all the way back to the heel.

I got the 8 wide in Sporto for both pairs and they fit perfectly. I really love these boots. The price is reasonable, and it's not that easy to find waterproof boots that look good.

I brought Item: 449-712 the High Boot from another website but had to return them because they were way too narrow. I normally love Sporto boots, and they run true to size. I dunno why this particular style was narrow?????

I find Sporto boots to run big and wide. My feet aren't particularly narrow (I wear a B width shoe), but Sporto never fits me well. I can a 7.5 or 8 and even opting for the 7.5 doesn't help me with Sporto.

I got my sporto yesterday, the TSV. They run true to size. I ordered a 7m and they fit fine. They are warm, comfortable, the height is just right. I dont like tall boots and I dont like high heels. The treads on the bottom are also deep so good traction in the ice and snow
