I was watching the presentation on the TS and the host said if you bought one of the TS and charged it to the HSN card, each DG item you bought for the rest of the day would be $5. off. Well, I listened again in the tape when looking on the web page....and I heard it again. Yet, when I went to use the offer, they would only give me $5 off on one item. Please someone listen to that presentation and let me know what you heard the host and Diane talk about regarding this offer. Shame on you HSN

Yes when i watched last night Bobbi said. If you order any of the DG Fashion you would get $5 off using HSN card. Sounded to me like more then one item.

I would call CS,and let them know that is what the host said. If they don't obide ask to speak to a supervisor.

I don't like some of the games they play.Shame on you

Well, I just received an email response. Here's what they said:
"Please allow me to apologize for the inconvenience and confusion caused by Coupon Number 554501.

I sincerely apologize, but I am unable to apply this coupon to all of your orders because this coupon is a one-time use coupon valid for $5 off your next single-item Diane Gilman purchase of $5 or more from HSN and hsn.

I have taken the liberty of applying this coupon to Order Number xxxxxxx for you. This amount should be reflected on your credit card balance within the next 3 to 5 business days and appear on your credit card statement within the next 1 to 2 billing cycles.

Listed below are the terms and conditions for Coupon Number 554501. They are:

Coupon 554501 is a one-time use coupon valid for $5 off your next single-item Diane Gilman purchase of $5 or more from HSN and hsn. Customer must use their HSN Card or HSN MasterCard when making the purchase. Subject to credit approval. Coupon must be applied when order is placed. Excludes shipping & handling, sales tax, Today's Special, This Day Only and can only be applied to the first shipment of AutoShip items. Coupon cannot be applied with other coupons or offers and is non-transferable. We reserve the right to cancel orders when unexpected coupon system errors occur. Offer is valid October 30, 2009 through December 31, 2009.

I value your business and appreciate your understanding.

If you have any questions regarding this information, please reply to this message.

or you may call us at 1-800-933-2887 from 8 a.m. - 1 a.m., Eastern Time.

Sincerely,

Wendy
hsn Customer Service"

This may be the terms of the coupon, but this is totally not what the host said on TV. I listened to the tape again and she did say.....each and every one...meaning purchase. The host probably made the mistake, but HSN should really back this up. They would honor this type of mistake in a retail store.

It will be interesting to see if they pull the tape off of the TSV item.

Also interesting to see what happens when I respond.

Isn't life interesting!!!!!

They will not honor what was said online by bobbi. Even if is a error or mistake this is the second time i heard it online. Hsn should honor this!!!!!! This is how Hsn will lose their customers. I can not believe it they will not hornor this!!!!!!!

I was in the other room with the TV turned up and just heard Bobbi say the same thing again. She did not mention it was only good on only one thing.

Yes, I also heard Bobbi say that there would be an additional $5 discount on ALL clothes ordered from DG2 that were charged with either the HSN charge or the HSN credit card. I think that she should have her facts straight before she would announce such a thing only to have it have specifics that she didn't mention. She certainly didn't mention that it was a one shot deal.

I don't wear DG2 anymore so it didn't affect me however I feel badly for those who were counting on that discount. Even though it was only $5 it did at least help defray the shipping costs.

Call cs and talk wiht a supervisor- they'll at least put the $5 per purchase in spendable kash for you. I've had them honor things the host &/or vendor said- even if it wasn't accurate. Cool

I recently got a gift guide with coupon codes in it for HSN cardholders. The DG coupon specifically says $5.00 off ONE item. It says it's a one time use coupon. All the other coupons say you can use it as many times as you want.

I think the hosts were confused which is understandable as everyone makes mistakes but the producer or someone should have corrected them.

Ladies
Even though I didn't buy this; I think the issue is much larger .I used to be a big cheese (loll) for a fortune 500 company. we were always held responsible for our mistakes, and did everything we could to satisfy the customer. I realize that the hosts are human, however I beleive that they have meetings(as Kathy Levine ) used to say on all of the ts or tsv products for the upcoming month. So if that is the case the issue of he coupons should have been discussed and clarified. In this voltile economis climate I don't believe that HSN should continue to alienate its customer base. There are too many other retailers who will be happy to take our money. I also have been shopping less and less with HSN nad much much more with the Q.There customer service inho is the best there is.
I hope you gals get satisfaction.I agree that HSN should at least put this disputed monies into your spendable cash account.

Scarlett, i felt i had to reply. I feel exactly as you about hsn policy etc. I have really not shopped here for sometime.

I have to say they were my favorite shopping place, but not lately.

Don't want to get into an aggrivating problem i had with them recently. I get some order ships, and they really messed me up

I am thinking of closing my account with them at this point.

Too many upsetting issues, that make me think i should.

Have to agree about the Q. Wonderful place to shop, and stressless experiences.

Scarlett, if you post on the QBB, you will find many people fed up with QVC and their ever declining customer service. There are many complaints over things that QVC is pulling. I personally find HSN's CS to be far above QVC at this point. I never have return issues with HSN like those going on at QVC. QVC never offers any coupons ever nor do they really know what the word sale means.

I too heard the same thing about using the coupon to get $5 off multiple items. However, I did receive the booklet in the mail that contained a DG coupon for 1 single item. However, I did not pay any attention to any code numbers b/c I knew I wouldn't be buying. If I had bought though, based on what was said on air, I would be expecting to see a $5 discount for each DG item. It was stated as such several times that something should have been done about it. The producers or whoever should have known what was going on & corrected the problem.
