I just returned two boxes to hsn using their ups return labels and was told it was prepaid?? I don't want to kick a gift horse, but could that be right? Now I'm going to worry. I have the return tracking numbers, so I guess it's okay??

hsn refunds the complete payment (including s&h), but then they
take a charge of $6.95 from your return credit(even on items that only
cost $2.25 for them to ship to you in the 1st place),like an
eyeliner pencil or something small. doesn't sound right to me.

Yes.. its pre paid using YOUR money! They just add the amount S & H amount according to the items weight from the package back to your charge. I love when they put like 6 things in a box but each has their own shipping weight. I have learned to be very watchful.

Don't like to pay so much return postage, but it is nice to walk in the UPS store, drop off the pkg. and leave. It's convenient. I wish S&H were lower. I try always to add it into the cost of the item when deciding whether or not to buy something. And, I almost never order clothing or shoes, as there is a good chance I'll have to return them.

I guess we have to chock it up to "the cost of doing business". It is very convenient to just drop it off at UPS (we have one inside a local Staples Store) and walk away, however at $6.95 a shot, it sure can add up to a tidy sum. I do believe, however, that I heard one of the hosts say that if you return items purchased for Christmas, that they will credit you with the "original" shipping cost that you paid to get it. Of course if that is the case, you will still have to pay to ship it back. I'm sure it won't be long before it will go up to like $7.25 or even $7.50. We must start now to be more selective and careful of how we shop.

Another good suggestion.. and for 1/3 the price.. is pay 1st class USPS BUT always get a delivery conformation .55 extra I think. BUT well worth it. and HSN has to believe uncle sam delivery system. I only use the stickers when its jewelry because it has insurance included otherwise good old USPS works for me
