HI ALL, I HAVE ALWAYS TAKEN GOOD CARE OF MY SKIN AND ALSO LOOKED YOUNGER THAN MY TRUE AGE. ( GENES) MY MOTHER HELD HER AGE FOR A LONG TIME. NOW I AM FINIALLY SHOWING MY AGE AND I MUST SAY IT IS NO FUN. I AM TORN BETWEEN USING ISOMERS AND M.ASAM. MAYBE EVEN VASALINE.....LOL I DON'T HAVE ALOT OF WRINKLES BUT GRAVITY HAS TAKEN OVER. ANYONE HERE MY AGE? IF SO, WHAT HAS WORKED YHE BEST FOR YOU OTHER THAN SURGURY WHICH I WON'T DO. DECIDED MY FACE WOULD NOT MATCH THE REST OF MY BODY, AND I DON'T HAVE THAT KIND OF MONEY.

Hi, I am 58, so I am dealing with probably some of the same skin issues that you may be seeing. I have used alot of SSC and SCA. Also, have had kits from M. Asam, Wei East, Dr. Graf and Lauren Hutton (love her make-up). The SSC reverse lift products do work for the sagging, as well as the Correc-chin. Am now trying the Elysee line. If you ever watch one of the presentations, you will be sold on the ingredients used, as well as the fact that the founder of the company is nearly 70 and has absolutely flawless skin, and she has NOT had surgery of any kind. The Elysee lifting mask that I recently tried is SO much better than Firmaface, and promises to benefit skin the more it is used. Elysee also has additional "lifting" products, including a new one that is supposed to really help with saggy neck issues. I'd also love to hear what has worked for you. Like you, I think my skin looks better than most, but I am always looking for the best products that actually do what they promise!

I HAVE MOST OF ELYSEE'S PRODUCTS, ISOMERS AND M.ASAM. I ALSO HAVE SOME OF MARILYN MIGLIN'S. IT DRIVES ME NUTS SOMETIMES WONDERING WHICH ONE TO USE. LOL! GUESS I WILL JUST KEEP MIXING AND USE WHAT I HAVE. I WAS LOOKING AT ITALIAN BEAUTY TODAY AND READ THE PRAISES ON THEIR HONEY LINE, PLUS THEIR NEWEST BLACK RICE LINE THAT HAD VERY GOOD REVIEWS, BUT I DID NOT ORDER!!!!!!!!!! I USED TO USE MARILYN MIGLIN'S OXEGEN 600 PLUS HER CLEAN TONE WHICH WORKS AS A TONER ALSO. I LIKED IT AND USED IT A LONG TIME. (UNTIL THE WHICKED WITCH OF WRINKLE LAND) GOT ME. IN THOSE DAYS THERE WERE NOT SO MANY BEAUTY LINES TO CHOOSE FROM ON HSN. MADE THINGS ALOT EASIER TO CHOOSE. I FINIALY REALIZED THEIR IS NO MAJIC CREAM, JUST FALSE PROMISES FROM WOMEN THAT HAVE HAD WORK DONE TO STAY LOOKING YOUNG IN ORDER TO SELL THE PRODUCT.

Star that is so true. imo almost all have had "work" done, I don't care if they said they haven't. Isomers has some really good products if you can wade through and find what's best for your needs. M.Asam is always getting lots of great reviews. Many also like Graf products. So many to choose from.

I'm 75, routinely thought to be as much as 15 years younger. Some of it is genes. I use Dr. Grafs products. I absolutely love them. I've been with HSN for 23 years, and used a lot of skin care products during that time. SSC was what I was using when Dr. Graf first came on 10 years ago. My skin was so terribly dry and chapped, I tried her products out of desperation, and have never looked back. I'm sure there are other good lines, and lots of women prefer them, but I don't see any reason to mess with a good thing.

I think good youthful skin comes from genes. However I do think if we keep our skin hydrated and help it along with some nice products we do look better. I have used all the lines mentioned and then some with the exception of Isomers. I used one of them for a year and a half waiting for all those great ingredients in twenty some bottles to do something. Nothing. I don't have bad skin just mature skin. I must say for me, Dr. Graf's products have made my skin look and feel better and it is a simple regime with just a few products.

I'm 63, and agree with StarS36 who said there is no magic cream or lotion that will turn back time when it comes to your skin. After looking younger all my life and being thought to be my children's sister, instead of their mother, I've aged considerably over the past few years. I have come to accept the fact that I won't ever look youthful again, but if I can look good for my age and presentable, I'd be happy. One day I looked in the mirror and a different person was staring back at me. Where did that protruding tummy come from? I'd always been tall & thin. Now, I'm carrying weight around the hips and middle. One night I went to sleep and woke up a different person with my body falling apart. Isn't getting older fun? When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade, but when it gives you age spots, sagging skin and wrinkles, you run from the room screaming & searching for a miracle cream on HSN!

HEY ! WHAT HAPPENED TO STARS36 (ME)!!!! ANYWAY, I AGREE ABOUT AGE SEEMS TO HAPPEN ALMOST OVER NIGHT. BUT YOU DON'T GET USED TO IT OVER NIGHT. WHEN I USED TO GET COMPLIMENTS I ALWAYS SAID, "ONE OF THESE DAYS I WILL BEND OVER AND MY FACE WILL DROP TO THE FLOOR" OH WELL, MY BODY ISN'T DOING MUCH BETTER SO I MAY AS WELL GET USED TO IT. I GUESS IT IS TIME, SEEING I AM TURNING 73 THIS COMING DEC. I AM JUST TICKED OFF I WAS SO DUMB TO SPEND SO MUCH MONEY ON CREAMS THAT DON'T WORK ANYMORE. WHEN I WAS YOUNGER ANY ONE OF THEM SEEMED TO WORK. OR AT LEASED I THOUGHT SO. LOL

Ooops, for some reason, when I read your post, it reminded me of the episode of the Golden Girls where Dorothy tells Blanche that when you bend over your face looks like someone let the air out of it ( or something like that). Blanche runs for the mirror, places it on the counter, and bends over and looks into it. She is shocked by what she sees. Dorothy then tells her that when she lays on her back, she will look years younger. Then the problem is that your b*oobs sag and fall to the side. That pretty much describes things once a woman gets older. Might as well laugh about it, since little can be done (short of plastic surgery) to change things.

Stars36, I too feel the same way. I am now 63 years old and to me all of a sudden I look old! I always looked younger for my age but now I don't! It's scarey... I have been taking care of my skin since a teenager and never used soap (noxzema instead), only good skin care. Over the years I have tried everything. I did use Wei East not too long ago and found that her products gave me brown spots on my pink cheeks! There was something in her ingredients that I just could not use. I am presently using Elizabeth Grant products sold on ShopNBC and at her website. She usually has kits which are at good prices. So far, so good. I have fair skin with pink undertones and it is rather sensitive. I feel these products have helped me. I would recommend giving them a try. They are for all skin types.

What I tried and really liked, and I have tried all the products that you have all tried is Dramatic Firming cream from Avon, which is really inexpensive. I keep on trying new things and always come back to this cream give it a try you can get it online!

I am 60 yrs old and one thing I have found that works well for me is to smile...really! I am not being cutesy at all. I have wrinkles and crinkles and my mouth is kinda down-turned so when I smile everything is lifted up! I sometimes look like a doofus but everyone thinks I'm always happy and 10 yrs younger.

I'm 66 - very young looking - good genes. About a year ago I purchased a "Clarisonic". Within a week everyone was asking what I was doing. I switch skincare all the time - am not loyal to a single brand. The Clarisonic cleans all the old makeup - everything from deep in pores. This allows whatever product you are using to penetrate the pores and actually do what it is suppose to do. It is not one of the exfoliators. It works with sonic waves like a sonic toothbrush. It takes one minute one time a day to clean your face with it. It is the one product I will use for the rest of my life. My skin feels wonderfully clean when I finish using it. If I dropped it on the floor and it broke I will have another purchased before the end of the day! I know many others who have one and all feel the same as I do.

Stars, I feel your pain. I'm only 52, but my sagging jowls & double chin makes me look much older. As a matter of fact, I've seen ladies in their 70's that had younger looking necks. There is hardly a wrinkle on my face, but my double chin is really aging me.
Today, I was browsing in a gift store admiring the beautiful crafts. The Sales Associate walked over to assist me. I was admiring this gorgeous vase and commented on the talent. It was covered with fabric and the S.A. said it was done by an older lady in her sixties. She went on to say, probally around our age! The S.A. looked to be in her early sixties, so this was really hurtful to hear that comment.
It's disheartening to spend so much on beauy products that aren't performing. I might just try the smile tactic.

Smiling sounds good to me also...
I'm 61 but that's okay...hydration really keeps the wrinkles plumped and less noticeable in my opinion. MAsam has been the best for me in doing this.
However, I'm trying Elysee right now to see if actual differences occur.
The owner of the company said on the last presentation that she had been using skin treatments since age 5...probably didn't bake in the sun or smoke either...no wonder her skin looks good.
60 years old, very dry skin, medium complexion with light freckles and two sunspots. Also, some small broken veins due to sun damage and mild rosacea. Medium crow's feet wrinkles, forehead wrinkles and mild lip line wrinkles.

I think I have you all beat! I am 67, almost 68 years young, and yes "genes" do play an important role in looking younger than your age. But, don't overlook maintaining a positive attitude, and treating those problems in life, as challenges to be met and overcome. Yes, when I look in the mirror, I do see my mother staring back at me, and wonder how I got so old, so fast! I have tried many different face creams through the years, and keep coming back to my favorite, olive oil soap. It keeps my skin hydrated, smooth, and looking it's best.

Your positive attitude reads to me, you are a kind and lovely person. Yesterday after getting off here, I decided to turn on the television. Oprah was on and her guest was the lady, that was aggressively attacked by the chimpanzee. At first, she was covered by a black veil and then it was pulled off. Shock comes to mind when you first see her, but then her real spirit & personality shines thru. After a while, you don't seem to notice the disfigurement and scars. I start to think, why am I complaining about my aging face? Thank goodness, I still have a freckled nose, blue eyes, rounded cheekbones, and smile to fall back on. Maybe, I learned a lesson 10 minutes after leaving the board.
