My daughter has one she loves and washed it in our "new" front loading steam washer. It totally ruined the blanket, flattened it out and took out all the fluff. I am looking for another one as a surprise for her but she got the one she has at a flea market in CA. Has anyone had any experience with these blankets call Acrylic Mink Blankets and are they real thick and heavy and warm? Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks

Dennis Basso makes gorgeous faux fur throws. They are warm and fairly reasonable in price for the quality. They are offered at the other shopping channel, the "Q". Check them out.

I have seen them at TJ Maxx. I have a throw like that, it did great in the wash. they are really pretty when they are made well!

Hi Hitsville! How are you faring these days? Hope you are much better and recovered from the flu. Was your throw from TJM a Dennis Basso? I don't have one, but purchased one for a gift a few years back for a relative. I think it is holding up well. They are lovely and look oh so warm and cuddly, not to mention luxurious.

Thank you for asking. Much better here now! :D I have one from TJM, but Adrienne Landau was just on with blankets like this. They look MUCH nicer than mine. So, I ordered one for the divan in my bedroom. Have you found one yet?
