I am extremely interested in why HSN doesn't reward good customers with some type of incentive rewards. I don't have an hsn card but I pay by my other credit cards and I don't think I am totally out of line thinking that there should be some "give back" such as :
- if you place x number of orders per month you get some free shipping or discounts on other orders for that month
- how about a real personal coupon like if spend over x dollars per month they just send you a couple 20%off coupons
Am I missing something? I am a very good customer of HSN but daily games and such are not a reward thankyou for good business regardless of what credit card you use.
I get tons of emails from HSN but nothing that says thanks for the biz in a real way.

I agree! I have also been a long time customer and it would be nice to think they appreciate that. I used to have an HSN card that gathered points you could use but then they changed cards and I do not want to get any more credit cards. I have also never won anything on any of the games . It would be nice to have a customer appreciation special once in a while.

When they switched to the new HSN credit card, we were promised many rewards -- I only see a few small ones every month, like a free shipping or $5 off -- not much of a reward you spend a lot each month. TJ Maxx gives you $10 for every $200 you spend -- hint, hint, HSN!!!!

I agree also!!!! The same with Kohls and JC Penney, they always give rewards and coupons to their customers, you don't have to play any games, to win them. LOL d'oh!

When returning any merchandise from these 2 stores, they give you 90 days to return, as oppose to the 30 days HSN and other shopping channels gives. Think d'oh! Shame on you

When I first started buying from HSN nearly 23 years ago, they had spendable Kash. They gave you as the member $10. on your birthday, and another $10 on your spouses birthday, and the same on your wedding anniversary.
They had games on air where you could win money. Spin to win, and the envelope game. If you were speaking with the show host on air, and were chosen to play, you got to chose one of several envelopes. Each had an amount of spendable cash inside - up to $100. I believe. The spin to win game, was a wheel which the host spun and wherever the arrow stopped is what you got.

I would truly appreciate HSN giving some sort of rewards to loyal customers - even a couple of free shipping coupons a month.

HSN used to feature different vendors and you would get a percentage off all the items you bought from that line that day. There were percentages off included in your monthly HSN card statements on shows or items. I remember not too long ago having percentages off clearance in celebration of various holidays. HSN used to use a lot of gimmicks to lure you into buying and it worked but now that seems to be gone. I have no incentive to buy from them so most everything I now buy locally which saves on postage plus I can find a lot more sales.

I, too, are a LONG TERM customers..Years before dirt. They used to do things like tell us in the forums about a half price sale or $1.00 specials, but you had to find them..We had a ball..someone would find an American Flag for $1.00 and we would all go jump on it, etc, until it was sold outl...it was a great reward for us buying and talking about our items..I agree..we need more goodies..Whatever happened to America's Store..It was part of HSN and one could get great deals..I think it closed down several years ago, but I still have some good things I bought there.

If you are a "if at first you don't suceed, try, try again" person; don't go skydiving!!

Yes, I have been a customer of HSN for about 27 years. I remember the cash for your birthday, anniversary, etc. too. I have always had an HSN card, but the monthly discounts are very insignificant just on certain vendors; i.e. $5 off, etc. This is not a reward. Also, just like other credit cards, they have really raised their interest rates. I've also noticed that sometimes you are charged two easy pays on an item in one billing period! Also, now I just noticed that if you have saved something to your Wish List with 4 easy pays - when you decide to buy that item, the 4 easy pays no longer apply. You only get the number of easy pays that the item is currently offered at! So, they have taken away yet another benefit to being a loyal customer!

Wow, I had no idea that HSN used to have so many great "rewards" for their customers. The one thing that I do miss is when they used to have 10-15% off on many beauty shows if you put everything on your HSN card. That really helped save quite a bit!

Another thing I notice is they used to give you $5.00 spendable cash if you were disappointed in some way! It used to really surprise me when I would be talking to CS about something that I was upset about, & they'd make me feel better by giving me $5.00 spendable cash. That was also nice ~ oh well, those were the days, my friend!!Boo hoo!

Hi snappygrandma ~ I have been shopping at HSN since early 1987 and have spent more money with them than I can justify, and I remember all those special rewards you described. I had forgotten a few of them like the wheel and the money for birthdays and anniversary. I do remember that you got $5 off your first purchase when you joined and it was called "HSC" or Home Shopping Club. Then they dropped the "Club" I guess because it sounded too much like a membership requirement. I now notice that the fashions, for the most part, are way out there (Curations for ex) and not for us older more mature women.

I am afraid I'll have to stop buying for quite a while while I catch up on some urgent bills I owe so if I'm MIA on the boards it is because I am too tempted when I go on line, but I will try to keep in touch. Love to all the friends I've made here and other threads.

Yes! Please reward us faithful customers, HSN! I would like to have more 10, 15 and 20% coupons even if they have restrictions to them. However, I don't like that HSN has so few coupons and they all have one time use rules applied to them.
