I will pass on buying the TS because of the magazine subscription. I am tired of Hsn doing this on a lot of their TS's. I know i can get a refund but i just can not deal with this every other month. I was intrested in the velvet jeans but they are only a $10 savings because that mag is another $9.97. Why cant they give us that $20 savings instead of giving us a mag we dont want plus waiting for a refund. I want my savings on the spot. Ladies what are your thoughs about it?

The DG TS is Item Number 554-997? I agree with you and wish HSN would give us the option of the magazine rather than tying it in to an item purchase. I pass on items that come with a magazine subscription.

I feel just the opposite. I love the magazine subscription offers and this will usually give me an extra incentive to buy the TS, that is provided the item is something I'm interested in buying in the first place. I will definitely be buying the Diane Gilman TS today because I love most everything I've ever purchased from her line.

I feel the same as the OP. I purchase my Lucky mag subs for $5 per year from Amazon when they have specials. Same with InStyle.

This is a situation where I WOULD have ordered the TSV for $9.90 less. That would have been an excellent deal. However, I do not want to go through the hassle of getting a refund that may, or may not show up. Ugh. I will just wait for the Talbots one to go on clearance.

Also, it seems silly to keep adding these subs to products, at some point, their fashion customers are going to be renewed for 5-10 years into the future LOL!!

Hi Gals - I ordered the jeans (grey & brown) but I will ask CS to cancel Lucky magazine. I do not want the publisher to have my personal information which they no doubt then share with other vendors who will try to sell us. That's all that magazine is - I am sure HSN is getting a commission to give it away! GRRRRR!

UPDATE:
CS told me that if I return the 'opt out' Lucky card that comes with jeans, I will get $12 refund!! OK that works for me,just.... but I share everyone's annoyance that we don't have a choice of lower cost jeans instead. d'oh!

You make a good point. I really thought the magazine subscription was free with purchased'oh!

I was interested in the velvet jeans. However two issues now.

Sizing, and also finding out part of the savings go for magazine. d'oh! Eh?

Other issue is the rise on her jeans. I am short have a long torso.

I remember a few years ago when she had a TS,on the metalic embellished jeans.

The rise was too short for me,and even went up a size to accomodate.

Her petites are too long for me as well. I need a 28 inch one even with a heel.

So i guess i will pass on this one as well.

Just tried to cancel and 'Michael' said that I would receive an insert and to just check off on the insert that I did not wish to get the magazine. I told him that I did not get an insert before and I already get the thing and he said he tried to cancel and it would not let him cancel. Ugh I didn't like the magazine (it is just selling stuff).
