I am so glad to see a thread on Estaban..I "craved" one of his guitars for several years, but didn't have the money..This spring, I finally was able to buy one and I am in love. I had a professional guitar player come to my place with my friend who is a drummer, and he played as beautifully as Estaban, without a hint of trouble..I bought the "ROCK ON" series and it is drop down gorgeous...I had heath issues and haven't taken time to learn yet, but I just today went to a BIG music store and got a wall hanger so I can just look at it..and take it down when I am doing better. If he comes out with a fiddle, Katy bar the door, cause I am going to get it, if I have to eat rocks and grass all month..At my age, I have eaten a lot of rock and grass, and it is quite good once you get the dirt out..LOL..Several of his quitars had bad reviews on quality control issues, but after being looked at by several players, this is part of country heartland for goodness sake, and guitar players are EVERYWHERE, they all found it to be of good quality sound and was awed by the price..Good guitars go easily for 1200 up, so these are a bargain..Did I say, I love my Estaban..I think it gives details on his past on the Estaban page..I saw it somewhre and he only sells on HSN..Another poster ws correct, he had a severe car accident many years ago that left him in pretty sad shape. He is blind in one eye for sure/maybe more, thus the sunglasses, and the hat is just sexy..I don't care if he is fat/forty and bald, I want that fiddle and will buy one someday.
If you are a "if at first you don't suceed, try, try again" person; don't go skydiving!!
