I really like Carleton Varney's items but HSN needs to bring in more colors and prints. They remind me a lot of Waverly designs which I really like and presently have in two of my bedrooms. It would be nice to have a change but I would like different colors than Carleton presently has available.

I love his things, too, fifties. It was my impression that he was supposed to be back with new items in September, at least that is what was stated on air when he was on last. Instead, they are just showing the same things as last time...nothing new. Not even the lamps they said were on the way.
I really really hope that HSN hasn't 'deep sixed' Carlton already.

I have noticed in the past year that HSN has pretty much given the axe to many vendors that I have in the past bought from. It's to the point now that I rarely buy anything and was really looking forward to see Carleton on with some fresh prints and new ideas. I'm with you EnergyGirl, I hope that HSN hasn't already dismissed him.

I agree. I love Carleton's style and can't wait until Oct. They just mentioned on air that he has new styles and patterns coming in Oct.

I hope that he does return with some fresh prints as that's what they said about the Sept. show and it never materialized.

I had never heard of him until he came to HSN. Does he only do pink?

I was in hopes that he did many color combinations but so far HSN has only bought the pink combos. I didn't understand why he didn't bring in some new designs and colors on his Sept show. Now they say Oct. will be all new?

There is retro that's cool & retro that is more granny than groovy. Carleton is the latter. I wont be buying, not even for my granny.

I'm really enjoying my 'new' bedroom decorated with all the Carlton Varney items from a couple of months ago. But where are the new things? They promised us lamps specifically, and new items for other rooms in the house.....but nothing has materialized. Does anyone have any information? Did the original items not do well enough to continue the line? I sure hope not. :(

I saw his show last night for a few minutes and I love his STYLE! I love to mix and match colors and patterns. I wanted the leopard tablecloth and it sold out last night. This morning there were a few and I got one! I am so happy. I like to add a little animal print, it livens up a room. I can't wait till he comes back!
