I am so disappointed in the quality of Joy Mangano's Totally Tables. It was actually embarrassing to give them as a gift to my mom when we realized immediately that the tables were all a different height, never actually latched together and were almost impossible to open up into position by one person. How can Joy produce such a poor quality product? Seems someone is getting greedy and forgetting about customer quality. I am convinced the only product worth buying of hers is her hangers. Which by the way, aren't any better than the off brand ones sold at BB and Beyond and Target.

Don't purchase the these tables. You will be disappointed too. Maybe there is one set out of 100 that are produced perfectly. Its not worth the effort to repeatedly return them hoping to get a perfect set like they show on television. The weight of the box is so heavy, we could barely carry it to return it.

Don't waste your time. Buy real furniture or just go for the old fashion snack tables.

I would request credit for the shipping as well. I have done that before, when I have received defective merchandise, or items (such as jewelry) that have come apart during shipping. HSN has always been pretty good about crediting it back to me. Applause

So sorry for your disappointing JM purchase. I bought them when they first came out and I'm very pleased with them. I've found that you have to attach them on a hard surface floor...

I was waiting for this topic to come up for 2009. Every year this happens. They drag out the tables and customers start complaining. I bought the tables a year ago and two of them have cracked, running along the grain of the wood, all the way from the left to the right side of each table. It could have been a great idea.

I bet you could by those type of latches and hook them up to the $10 tables at Walmart.

I've been happy with mine. I only use them during the holidays but they work for me.
