We all have a certain style and look we are going for. What is yours ?

Mine is primitive/country/cottage/ecletic (whatever that means) LOL

We are blessed to live in a 136 year old farm house. I love every uneven floor and mis- matched window in the place. I have embroidered/framed many samplers, as they are too pricy to buy, other things I have found at yard sales and flea markets . My collection of "junk" is shaping up nicely...

comfortable I prefer things with a country look to them. Old fashioned. Your farm sounds wonderful.

French Country Electic - I love mismatched, worn things too.

I live in a small house which I call my cottage, small pool and small yard:just enough to allow my three dogs to roam and plant my flowers, citrus and other greenery.

Peace!

mismatched/worn...that's it ....LOVE it too sylvai, your cottage must be so cozy !!

We just added a large wood burning stove to our country kitchen...it is an old one,but the price was super .A new one of the same size would have cost is $1,000 more than we paid for the second hand one.
Now I have a source of heat no matter what happens and will even be able to heat up food & water on it's flat top using my cast iron pans...NOW, I am ready for winter !!

it sounds so-neat lobo...i'm wanting "NATE" to come to my home and help me to decorate..as our home looks like a Florida home on the outside and we have a Florida-room on the back of our house..but everything in our home looks like the 60's as that is when are home was built...we are the 2nd. owners...we have shag-carpet,....pink and green stools, and lavatories, in the bathrooms,..with most dark paneling in the 3-bedrooms....and living room- dining room,- hallway...the lay-out is perfect, however, we love our-home, but it could sure use Nate and Oprah...thank-you for this thread..
