Sweeney Todd! Sweeney was born in the vet's office a little over a month ago, but is slightly larger that Stan was at 2 and 1/2 months. Sween is a dark slate gray color...no white, but has the sleek and svelt Siamese body type that is like Stanley's. Stanley reacted to Sweeney just like Wimbley reacted to Stan...hiss spat! However, I imagine after a few days Sweeney and Stanley will be fast pals. I just hope they don't then decide to up on poor Wimbs.

I know this is going to change in a few days, but right now Sweeney is a LOT more laid back that Stanley ever was. Stan was a ball of fire right from the get go, but ole Sween is just batting his eyes sleepily at Stan and almost yawning in his face, lol! Sween for sure has Simease in him as all his sibs have the Simease markings and coloration. He is the only one who doesn't. But he definately has the shape.

Guess who isn't laid back anymore, lol! And it finally dawned on me who Sweeney reminded me of: Yoda! He has the same expression, same shaped head and face, and just about the same color!

Aww...... how sweet! Was that a surprise???? If my hubby surprised me with a pet I'd have a stroke. He's a good sport about all the guys I bring home, but he's not a er like I am. Siamese are so cute, "meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow!" That must explain your user name because if ever there will be a chatty cat, it is a Siamese. What color eyes does Sweeney have?

We have a tuxedo cat and on mother's day I adopted 2 siblings that are Manx. They are SO funny. They think the older one is their momma, despite that he's a male, LOL. They were born to a stray who was brought in and were SO tiny. The shelter initially thought their tails were because of an infection/and or frostbite. Only when they were a little older did it become obvious they are Manx. One is a boy, one is a girl and the girl is the softest cat I have ever felt. I used to have chinchillas, and she is THAT soft. She is grey too, and still not a lot bigger than a chinchilla. Manx can take years to fully grow.

I wish we could post pics here, I could look at pets all day. :)

I just got a little siamese kitten. He's in no way purebreed but that doesn't matter to me. He's so sweet and social. He can get very hyper during playtime and has since discovered leaping from one high surface to another.

Sweeney's mom was not Simease, but his father apparently was as all the rest of the litter has the Simease coloration and markings. Stan probably has some Simease as well since he while solid black, looks Simease otherwise. They both are "talkers", Stan talks when he is playing, Sweeney, just about anytime about anything, lol! Sweeney is a bold fella...he doesn't take anything from Stan...he gives as good as he gets talking up a storm the entire time! I still can't keep them together all the time as Stan is about quardruple Sween's size and sometimes they get too rough and I have to give them timeouts. In another couple of months Sween will be as big as Stan probably and then the fun will really begin! Yes Sweeney was a complete surprise as my husband had been very firm about NOT getting another one! Such a big softie he turned out to be!

Sweeney did the funniest thing just now: he went to take a drink from his water bowl and instead of just hanging his head over the top and lapping up like most cats would, he his front feet smack in the bowl and kept them there until he finished his drink! Now I've had two other cats who didn't mind the water a mother daughter combo. The mother was a true Simease loved to jump up on the showerhead to keep me company while I took a shower...how she kept her balance I don't know. Her daughter would walk through water puddles in our yard up to her underbelly and sometimes just stand there observing (this was before we made her and our other cats indoor onlies this was in the mid-1980's). Sween also has taken to playing with Stan's ring toy...the plastic ring that has a ping pong ball in it.

LOL! That is so cute! Siamese tend to like water, don't they? How funny about the momma cat, and she must have taught her daughter to like water too. Cats are endlessly entertaining.

Is that ring one of those things like a round tube and they can chase the ball around and around? We have to hide that at night. The manx siblings won't leave it alone. They are REALLY funny. Manx have long back legs and big back feet and boy can they JUMP. There was a fly in here, sort of in the doorway, and from a sitting position they each jumped about 2/3s of the way up in the doorway. They must have springs.

My oldest daughter has gone cat crazy. We have had all kind of exotic little guys around here, but cats are just so funny. Such personalities. My brother and I have an online game, we try to outdo each other with the silliest cat videos on youtube. There is some seriously silly cat behavior on there and there's no way NOT to smile.

Hitsville, Sween at least an inch of his tail into my coffee I was enjoying this morning, lol! I love Manx too. When I was growing up my grandparents had a mama Manx and her kittens. There was a sloping half open drain spout from the roof of their back porch with a well next to the steps (the well was completely inclosed in a concrete box as it wasn't a watertable well...no one could get into it without a key). Well, these Manx LOVED to get on the well then climb up that sloping drain spout and SLIDE down it. They could keep doing that all day! What fun to watch! I don't know which is more active: Manx or Siamese. I've heard that Abbsinnians are active too.

Sweeney has been sick the past couple of days. He still isn't 100% but he is better today. Much to everyone's annoyance (Stan's and Sween's) we've decided to keep them separated until Sween is back to normal. I was very worried about Sween because he is so tiny. He had bad, bad diarhea and a bacterial infection in his gut, but today the diarhea is gone and of course we're giving him antibiotics for the bacterial infection. We took him in to see the vet yesterday. He wasn't dehydrated, nor had he lost weight, but he had not gained weight either. As I say I hope he gets back to normal real soon. I LOVE this little guy. Stan is my dh's kitten, but Sween is mine!
