Apart from wedding rings, you do always wear a signature piece of jewelry that you just wouldn't be without? If so, what is it? Thanks, ladies...

Interesting question! I'm sure I'm not unique here on the jewelry board to say that I have a variety of different pieces ranging from "WOW" to inexpensive fashion jewelry. I tend to rotate based on what I'm wearing or where I'm going. However, my favorite stone is ruby and I only wear white metals. Years ago my husband bought me a ruby and diamond bracelet in white gold and the bracelet was over an inch too long for my wrist. I had the bracelet cut and the extra piece made into an enhancer. It fits over any chain, beads, or omega style necklace and I wear this enhancer quite often. It's striking because of the color (I was lucky enough to actually get Burmese rubies) and nobody else has a "line pendant" like this.

Apart from my wedding rings, I do not have signature piece of jewelry. I love all my jewelry- fine and fasion, but do not have something that I would wear every day, just because. I usually wear a "set" and every day different one. Great topic, chrysoberyl!

No signature piece for me--that would limit me. I have too much jewelry to waste a finger, wrist, neck or shoulder wearing the same piece of jewelry every day. The idea is good though.

We can change the definition of "signature." Instead let me ask, "What is your signature look?" For example, an armful of bracelets or strings of pearls or stack rings. Something you feel is very much "you." BTW, I don't have a single signature either. I keep looking for that perfect piece but haven't found it yet, which is why I have way too much jewelry.

I guess my signature look would be the designer silver I wear. I love Barbara Bixby, Ann King, Robert Lee Morris, Michael Dawkins, Faye Fon, Nicky Butler, and I just purchased a drusy ring from Marianna and Richard Jacob's Sajen silver line. I own some Samuel B and Robert Manse pieces as well.
When I first started out with home shopping, I loved Technibond, Absolute, Diamonique, and gold jewelry, but I've sold most of my gold jewelry. I dress casually most of the time, and I think silver goes well with everything for me. It fits my lifestyle, and I love handcrafted pieces.

My gold "petula" bracelet from HSN is my signature piece. I almost always wear it when I go out. I also wear a moissanite heart ring on my right hand ring finger.

Yes, I have a piece of jewelry that I wear "everyday." Never comes off unless it needs to be cleaned, no matter what else I wear. It is a very sentimental piece to me. My Mother wore it everyday for years. It has been around my neck since she died over ten years ago. It is her diamond solitare necklace. It keeps her close to my heart. I feel naked without it.

My watch and my "protector" ring that I wear whenever I leave the house. My wrist and finger feels so bare if I ever forget them at home.

Every day I wear the narrow gold band my husband gave me on our 50th anniversary nearly 7 years ago. I also wear a ring I had made 23 years ago. My grandmother had a solitare engagement ring. When she died in 1959, my mother got it, had it made into a new ring, adding a ruby which was her birthstone. When she died in l986, I got that ring and had it made into yet another ring, adding my engasgement diamond and several smaller ones I owned and 2 small rubies. It's unique and very meaningful to me. My grandparents were married 100 years ago, so her diamond is quite old. My daughters know how I intend to pass it on to them, and maybe someday my granddaughter will have some part of it.

My signature look is an old silver native american cuff I wear all the time. It has green jade square in the middle and I love it. I wear silver. I wear a silver double link bracelet that I added on a flower charm and wear those 2 together. I also wear about 5 or 6 silver bracelets on my other arm and BIG silver rings. Big silver hoops (Steel By Design ones with like "balls" that cover up my piercings which I LOVE. I also wear a bunch of silver/stainless necklaces. Always get compliments and ladies always wanna see my jewelry so I assume it looks good. I like it anyway and that's what matters. I'm not trendy. I wear what I like and feel good in. Gold just doesn't really go with my skin tone but that fine w/me..silver is cheaper!!! And I love Steel by Design and have LOTS of their pieces!
