Does anyone have the Hitachi TV they are selling tonight? Are they selling these because they are older models?

Another question on this t.v. I have Directv. Is there some sort of special HD converter
box I must get? I'm confused, as I read the reviews of this t.v. and a few people mentioned
some sort of converter box. They didn't address in the presentation, at least not while I was watching,
so thanks to anyone who might have the answers.
